Mokpo Gatbawi Rock

interesting rocks. the walkway links town to the museums' area

Got here early in the morning so there was not that much people around at that time, the sky was clear and sunny so I could take good photos. Also, there are a lot of museums nearby where you can check it out. I took local bus here so not have enough time to check the museums out, for this place, I think just spending around 15~20 mins is enough.

I recommend to go there at night time, then you can see that with beautiful light. Has nice view as well

Really pretty walk, especially at night. There are many restaurants and cafés nearby to warm you up after.

Nothing much about the rock. But the surrounding area has a lot to offer. A great walkway, restaurants, coffee shops, bars...

If you have to visit Mokpo,
Before leaving Mokpo, it is recommended to visit Gatbawi Park.
You can see the sea while walking, When you cross the bridge
you can see a way to the Peace Square.
If you come to Mokpo, please visit.

Gatbawl in Mokpo is located near the sea, so it has beautiful and reliable features. Listening to Gatbawl's sad history, Gatbawl is a symbol of Mokpo, which looks like Gatbawl. Walking along the Gatbawl trail, it is the best plase to make memories of friends and family.

worth it.. you should come at night its more beautiful.

갓바위라는 명칭이 여기 저기 많다.
대구 팔공산 갓바위가 유명하고
목포 갓바위등등 지역별로 여기저기 많다.

목포 갓바위는 목포 평화광장 근처에 위치해있는데 관광하기 좋은 코스이다.
평화광장쪽이 숙박업소도 많고 먹거리도
대형마트도있어서...
목포여행을할때 많은분들이 평화광장쪽에
숙박예약을 많이들 한다.
평화광장쪽에 맛집을 갈 예정이라면
잠시 짬을 내서 갓바위를 둘러보는것도 좋을듯하다.
위치에따라 조금 다르겠지만 도보로 10분 안팍이라 가벼운 산책이나 식사 후 가벼운 운동겸 관광으로 둘러보시기를 추천한다.
