Shilla Stay Cheonan

Nice hotel in Cheonan. Lots of restaurants close by as well as shopping including groceries at Lotte mart. Rooms can be a little warm at times but are nice, clean, and with comfortable beds.

I was impressed by the hotel's location, fantastic view, service quality, and delicious food.

It's a very convenient place to stay in the area. English accessible. There's a very reasonably-priced laundry room on the first floor, which is a rare and very welcome amenity in a good hotel. Rooms are very comfortable also, and feature international electrical outlets. The executive lounge is a nice touch, but isn't particularly impressive, and could REALLY use label cards for the food that give a hint as to the ingredients.

Very modern hotel. The room was clean and the service was like expected. Friendly personal. The gym was small but enough for exercising. The breakfast buffet is for Korea okay. If you can choose take a room with city view.

After a long and tiring search for halal food in Cheonan, they visited Diana's wonderful and very tasty restaurant. It was a beautiful day to discover this halal restaurant.

Immaculately kept newer construction Hotel with a wonderful, accommodating bilingual concierge and modern yet cozy decor. Very through room service and hotel maintenance. Definitely a step above anything else located in the area, perhaps a 4-star hotel by North America standards. We felt very pampered and loved our week here! The AC wasn't very reliable but it was a very temperate day outside so it didn't bother us. Tips: Contrary to other reviews, there was no dinner or lunch buffet, though there is a very delicious breakfast buffet with Asian and Western items, + some food available in the cocktail lounge later in the day. Make sure to make use of the Lotte Mart, just 2 minutes walk down the main drag of Shilla Stay, for grocery/clothing/accesories etc etc needs. Lotte Mart cafes on the 1st floor + delicious 3rd floor restaurants!

The hotel is well appointed and has a good mix of Western and Eastern influences. You can have a "full English" breakfast at the buffet, or indulge in some Korean specialities.

There is a bar where you can buy "drink as much as you can" beer for 5000 Won (about £3.50). Certainly not the best pint you will ever have, but it hits the spot.

Staff is friendly and can converse in English.

Location is quite central and you can walk to restaurants and shops, or take a taxi to neighbouring towns quite easily.

I'd recommend this hotel.

Comfortable place to stay with a good breakfast every morning. Able to clean your room pretty flexibly if you're working off hours. Try to get a north facing room (back of hotel) especially in summer.

Clean, modern facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room, great shower, access to complimentary WiFi, Ethernet plug for internet access, and good views from some of the rooms. The gym is larger than most other hotel facilities. The bidet with the toilet was a surprising bonus.

Great location next to a main road. Very nice rooms. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choice and is very good. Lots of things within walking distance. Overall a great hotel.

The stay at the hotel was really pleasant and good, the room are clean.

Helpful Hint: If you are trying to get a taxi to Shilla Stay (and you have shown then the address in Korean, and they are still confused, say "Lotte Mart" like "Low-Tey Marta" and they should know where to take you.

Pros (in not particular order):
1. Nice décor - modern and professional CLEAN
2. You can get a breakfast and Laundry service package with your room - be warned, however, that they WILL charge you for things that they think are even slightly different than what you mark. They will do one shirt, one undershirt, socks, and underwear. They will charge for pants!
3. Breakfast has a great variety, both Western and Eastern - though I am disappointed that they do not have Kimchee.
4. Onsite Laundry, and it is not too expensive - 2000KRW for wash, 2000 KRWfor dry and there is a laundry detergent vending machine - 1000KRW for detergent and a dryer sheet.
5. The gym is pretty nice - I haven't visited, but my coworkers have, they say sometimes they blast music down there. I'm sure they'd shut if off if you ask.
6. They speak English well enough to communicate, and are very nice.
7. The is a subway, starbucks, and Lotte Mart (Department store) within walking distance.
8. Taxis arrive surprisingly fast when you ask for one in the AM.

CONS:
1. Check in can be difficult - they are very new right now, and still working through the kinks. If you reserve with breakfast, you have to make sure they put you on the list when you check in.
2. The whole "charging for laundry" thing is pretty annoying. Pants are currently ~7700KRW and a shirt is ~6000KRW.
3. The area around the hotel does not seem to have a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

As you may know, this is the best hotel in Cheonan for business travelers.

Stayed in double standard room for three nights, the room is nice with bathtub. Breakfast is nice, must try their waffle it is too delicious and I took it every morning.

Pretty nice hotel for such a small city. It's convenient to some eateries, Lotte Mart, and convenience stores. Their fitness room is nice.

Clean, reasonable-priced and well-decorated brand new hotel. Breakfast was great and the place for breakfast was spacious.
