Traditional market in Danyang. Pretty busy in the weekends. Many places to buy and sample food. People wait for fried chicken because it’s the best in town and they don’t deliver. Many souvenirs foods to take home after your camping/paragliding/extreme off roaring trips!

Excellent traditional market nearby the all the major attractions in Danyang. It's chock full of vendors selling all kinds of street food and traditional favorites. The fact its next to my motel is an added bonus.

This is very well organized traditional market. Danyang is famous of garlics so this market has its own unique garlic bread, garlic fried chicken. Tteok-galbi is also famous!

It’s not huge but has a great mixture of local stores and the tourist-y popular foods. Definitely worth stopping by when in Danyang.

Lots of variety and very interesting stores. Give it a chance if youre nearby! But do look out for the dates when they are open :)

This is the market for all kinds of street food. The streets have a lot on offer be it sweet or hot. I recommend you to try ice cream here as they offer it in different shapes and it also tastes good.

You can enjoy many kind of street food.
There is only one traditional market in Danyang.
Please do not expect Big one like Seoul Namdaemun market.
Danyang is small city.

Traditional market place in Danyang. I personally don't really like "Black Garlic Chicken Pop"..

Just normal chicken is better.

Great market for tourists! It was really cool to see how the restaurants advertised celebrities/tv shows that had been filmed here. E.g. I ate at the same place Park Bo Gum did, which was pretty cool (for me).

Small peaceful environment to enjoy a meal..

Great market right next to the river. Soft serve ice cream, garlic ddeokgalbi, fresh garlic, soondae, mushrooms, and garlic sauce fried chicken are the famous foods to try here.

We received cash vouchers to use at the market and had a very nice time buying foods using it. We were able to buy octopus stick, spicy rice cakes, seaweed rice rolls, fishcakes and also black garlic ice cream! Black garlic is actually a specialty of Danyang.

Excellent market. Lots of options for various garlic breads and other garlic-related things. Garlic is a local specialty.
