Yangyang Surfyy Beach

This beach is perhaps one of the most iconic beaches in all of Korea. Atleast for foreigners. People on this beach surf all day long and then party all night long. It's crazy, but in a good way.

This place has a very cool vibe and everyone around this beach speaks English, which is very rare in Korea.

There are lots of beach side shacks and lots of publically available beach side seating options and restrooms here. A must visit on the Korean east coast.

This cafe has a great view of the ocean ant it's great to take pictures.
Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the second floor due to COVID-19, but the view would be better if I went to the second floor.

Great vibes, having spent most of my life in a tropical island I can definitely recommend here as your get away from the busy Seoul. Whether to surf or just chill, plan a two day trip!

Cool place to hangout have a cold drinks and swim. The place is super clean and spacious and also the water is clear

nice sand no rocks clean water and clean area rest room is good its not that big but its perfect

One of the cleanest beaches. Expect high prices on sunscreen if you forgot to bring your own like I did.

Probably the only place like this you'll find on the main land. There are designated spots for swimming only but all other areas are surfing and paddle board only. Great vibes coming from the bar restaurant area with actual DJ. Pretty regulated place but not all that much to do if you're not surfing. Waves are super small so generally for first timers

I totally would love this place to take pictures with my family and felt like it is California.

It's a perfect place for people who dream of traveling in an exotic atmosphere when they can't travel abroad like these days. It was very satisfying. Personally, I think it is the hottest place in Korea in 2021. I would highly recommend it to those who are curious about why Yangyang is so popular with surfers.

Great place for surf!! However, you wont be able to soak yourself into the ocean without paying for surf lessons. Workers will probabpy kick you out of the water due to safety reasons.
