A nice cafe that turns into a bar in the evening (but you can still get coffee and sweets). It’s open late which is a plus. I went after dinner and wanted a coffee and something sweet to eat. I ordered the pour over coffee which was done well. I also ordered the caramel basque cheesecake and it was delicious. There’s bar and table seating, and the vibe is laidback. Service was fast and friendly. A little walk from the station but worth a visit if you have some time.

Rostery and café by enthusiast owner and skilled barrista. Extreme quality consciousness with eye for details while remaining unpretentious. Chick and modern interior with a spacious and unassuming design. A genuine plane with a genuine feel. Excellent cappuccino from espresso (who's is not the norm in Japan) and homemade brulee pudding with coffee jelly. 600 yen for the cappuccino which I happily paid for given the quality (current mean is about 500 yen). Highest recommendation.

This was our first breakfast in Japan. Relaxed cafe with nice ambience. Ordered coffee with milk and croque madame. It was good. Service was friendly and our waiter spoke English. Would recommend.

A simple, laid-back cafe in the quiet local area of Kamata. A one of its kind in the area. The place is very cozy and has lovely, rustic interiors. I came for brunch and their food was good and presented well.

I’ve been in this neighbourhood for nearly 30 years and it’s nice to see a cute and friendly cafe like this pop up! It’s a great place to catch up over coffee or do some work on my laptop since there aren’t many other places like it nearby. The drinks are great (with alternative milk options) and I love their unique sandwiches too. The staff are always so friendly. They do fun bar nights and gyoza nights too! Highly recommend.

This is a modern neighborhood cafe, quite close to the station. I went mid-afternoon on a Sunday and the place was still packed. I imagine the weekdays are patronized by students too, so I'm glad they have the clientele to stick around.

There are a couple of bar seats and tables and a larger table+sofa at the back. You order at the table and pay upfront. There's a choice of espresso and drip coffee and a small range of desserts and sandwiches. There were two staff working when I went there so the service was relatively fast and attentive.

I love the idea of the cheesecake in a jar, so it can be stored for a while and the packaging is reusable. Coffee was pretty good too!

We walked here from our hotel and the service and drinks were quick and easy! I recommend all the toasts, the beef bowl, and the iced caramel latte! A must try if you’re in the area!

For coffee lovers. Hight quality stuff.
You can talk to owner beans and bleds. They started to roast their own stuff recently! Small machine for now, but you can see how passionate the owner is

At last proper coffee!!
If you love coffee and live in Ota-ku then this a must place to go.
