Okina-do — Classic Western Style Dinner

I visited here with my family on a Saturday afternoon. It was a bit of a long wait to enter the restaurant, but it was worth it! The salad tasted incredibly fresh. The omurice was the highlight of my visit! The omelet was silky, warm, and flavorful! It was extremely delicious, and it made me wish that I could revisit this place. We also sat on the second floor nearby a window overlooking the beautiful view.

This is a gem in Matsumoto. Go early or prepare to queue.

I really liked the Japanese Style Spaghetti Carbonara, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavours were great.

Highly recommended dinner spot in Matsumoto, it's quite close to the castle and nearby shrine as well. The only downside was that there was only 1 small toilet and we always had to wait for someone to leave. I think a big restaurant like this needs at least 1 more toilet.

This place is well known for their curry, but I decided to try something different. I got the Omelet and Rice with chicken cutlets. I loved how crispy the chicken cutlets where cooked and the beef hash sauce was amazing, definitely recommend trying the beef hash sauce. The red wine was really good one of the waiters gave us options to choose which was really nice. For dessert I just had the chocolate sundae. Very nice and romantic restaurant for dinner.

Relax ambiance and staff very friendly. Food is amazingly delicious. We got the chiken curry and the beef stew. Portions are perfectly fine for one person and prices are affordable. For vegetarians, they offer a variety of 5 to 6 dishes. Menu is available in English.

Nice experience and good atmosphere, great music and old black/white slapstick movie running I the background. Staff was friendly and an English menu was present. Taste and choice of the food was excellent.

Really fun trying western/Japanese fusion! The omurice and pork cutlet were tasty.

Did not disappoint, all I can say is that the pork curry and beef hash were really original and great. Beef hash is salty, pork curry is aromatic, mild yet flavourful, not so salty.

The kind of place that only exists in movies and Matsumoto. Friendly service from the dapperly dressed staff with a wide variety of Japanese comfort food. I had the omelette rice with pork in demiglace and the Matsumoto salad. All excellent. Cozy ambience and relaxing music. Highly recommended!

Don't miss this people. You are warned.

Great location just opposite Yohashira shrine and "frog street". The window tables on the upper floor have great views.

A wonderful restaurant with a history of more than 90 years. Great food at a good price. I can highly recommend it.
