The shinkansen (high speed trains) to get you all around, and the whole world in high tech at your fingertips. The Japanese people are so friendly, hospitable and kind, .The island has majestic mountains like Mt. Fuji, onsens (hot springs) to enjoy just about everywhere, and of course all the care and love the people put into their flowers and trees - don't miss out on the sakura (cherry trees) in the springtime, they are truly a wonder of this beautiful place.

It's the island where Tokyo is situated. Also Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka. Since I was there in summer, it was really nice. Can be very cold in winter. Area is also known for earthquakes. There was the Fukushima earthquake in the northern part in 2011.

I have been asked by Google to review honshu which I assume is the entire island including Tokyo mount Fuji and someone I love Japan so I will have to give it five stars and you should go for sure even though the number of tourists has gotten ridiculous lately.

The great island of Honshu is truly a wonder and they got one of the best cultures and people for it is the main island of Japan, truly a wonderful and beautiful place

Just got back from Tokyo, Japan. The people were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Lots of cultural heritage to experience. I would definitely go there again.

why are people literally reviewing the biggest island in Japan? it's so big you could never review it in entirety without writing an extensive essay.

A great place.mainland island of Japan and home to many majour cities such as tokyo and great volcanic mountain mount Fiji is also located in Honshu. I was honour to get a trip to Honshu, Hokkaido and shikoku from sponser of saidham primeir league( a cricket tournament in my society). Thanks.
