Wakimizu no Sato, Makkari Tofu Kobo

Small shop selling various products made from tofu. Factory is in the same building and one can actually see how they work inside. Water used in production process is coming from the stream originating from nearby volcano (there are water stations next to the car park where plenty of locals came to fill in plastic bottles). We tried few items from the shop and we liked tofu pudding a lot, donuts were good too. Locals like to buy classic tofu for cooking. Very popular place, we were there just before opening hour and around 10 people were already waiting next to us.

Good place to get the tastiest tofu i had ever eaten!plus brought a box of donuts and a matcha tofu pudding.super tasty too!!! Regret never get their ramen and soba noodles. Very grateful that our friends drive us to this place

On the way to Sapporo, we stop by the Wakimizu no Sato, Makkari Tofu Kobo. This is a shop that probably sells the world best toufu, their toufu is made with the spring water. We bought some toufu & toufu noodles, it was sooooo good.

We drive from Otaru to fill the water jugs & buy fresh Tasting Tofu from Makkari Tofu Kobo. Made with the fresh Spring Water from Mt Yotei. Quality of Tofu is the Best! Oishisooo 😋 😋 💜

Very interesting stop. There’s some very fresh tofu products for sale here, made with the water from Mount Yotei.

There is also a spot where locals come to fill their bottles full with fresh mineral water from Mount Yatei

Who is not giving this place 5 stars? They have tofu donuts, people. They make their products from mountain water. You can fill a keg with the same mountain water and take it home for…¥0. Oh right, they don’t take Visa so yep yep mark them down.

Lots and lots of free samples. The tofu is amazingly good. They have all kinds of dishes ranging from tofu donuts to tofu hamburg. Very nice. The water outside is also drinkable. Very tasty water. It is said that the tofu is tasty because of the water.

If you're passing by for some reason, stop and get some tofu donuts. They're seriously delicious and probably the best donuts you'll ever get in Japan. While you're there, freely sample some of the tofu dishes they have; you may find your new favorite tofu dish there.

The public's toilets are a squat-y nightmare, though so hold your pee because there's no bathroom in the tofu shop.

その名のとおり湧水がある場所に建つ豆腐屋さん。「値段もすごいが味もすごい」と自虐と自慢を合わせたような標語が掲げられている。
うきふ豆腐は本当にクリーミーそして濃厚で美味しい。標語どおり確かに高いけど。
他にも豆腐ハンバーグや厚揚げなどいろいろ置いてあります。

店の前では羊蹄山の湧水を汲むことができます！樋が20本程度あり車を限りなく近くに停めることができるためかなり便利です。
全国で水汲みをして来たけど、水質はもちろんのこと、アクセスといい汲みやすさと考慮すると湧水スポット全国トップクラスだと思う。

ちなみに、向いの農家さんでは秋になるとジャガイモを売っていましたが、真狩やニセコの道の駅よりもさらに安く箱買いできます。こちらもお勧め。

札幌三越で買えると知り、濃厚な…すごい豆腐を求めて行くと、想像以上に豊富な品揃えで感激。冬は真狩まで行けないし… 😆
賞味期限が近くて良いならお得なセットもあり。
豆腐好きなので、限定セットを購入。
豆腐と思えない様な、うきふも食べれて幸せ！
三越近辺に行った時は、また寄りますね。

久し振りに、本当に美味しいお豆腐を食べました。　羊蹄山の麓には、美味しいお店が多く、ここもその一つです。たくさん買っても食べきれないので、厳選して… 悩みます。
濃厚な味で最高でした。

真狩の水は、とても美味しいので、それを使用した豆腐工房のは　ハズレ無しです^ ^
昔と違っていたのは試食コーナーが無くなってた位でしょうか。
支払いは現金は💰💸とキャッシュレス色々出来る様になってました。
お勧めは「すごい豆腐」「すごい納豆」

強気の価格設定ですが凄い豆腐も凄い納豆共に美味しいです。

個人的にオススメ商品が凄いよせ豆腐で酒の肴に最高です。
