Sky Cafe Wazuka

One of my favorite things I did while in Japan. I'm a huge matcha lover so being able to enjoy my matcha latte and snacks with a 360° view of the gorgeous tea farms was so magical. It was super rainy when I went and the stairs were quite slippery and dangerous but we made it up and it was worth it! Such a beautiful town, bought sooo much matcha and tea products from the store to take back 😍

One of the highlights of my trip to japan. The view from the sky cafe was surreal. The staffs(or owners) were really nice as well, they didn't speak english but just say sky cafe and they'll understand. The distance from the store to the sky cafe wasn't too far and the staffs gave us a hand drawn map to guide us up there. I would recommend ordering a drink and buying some snacks to bring up to the sky cafe. The matcha milk drink I had was superb. Only downside is that the bus to kamo station it comes every 1 hour so do plan accordingly. Special shoutout to internationallyme YouTube video for leading me here.

Nice private log house with a lovely view over wazuka town and its teafarms. Its a bit of a climb to the house so not recommended for people who have walking difficulties .

One of the best experiences that I have done in Japan. Drinking tea exactly where they produce it and in a sort of tree house with 360degrees view on the tea fields has no price. You pay 500yen per person for the reservation of the place, that is EXCLUSIVELY for you for one hour and then you pay the tea that you get, so cheap for what you get. We got a roasted hot one since it was kind of chilli outside accompanied by rice-tea sticks and leaves-tea biscuits (the biscuits were INCREDIBLE). P.s. in the same place you can ride an electical bike as well... really suggested.

Lovely views of the small town, valley and tea farms. This pin is not the actual cafe instead the place to rent the viewing cafe is down on the main road.

This place has shifted to 和束茶カフェon Google map which is really close to the original shop on the map. Awesome place where you can rent electric power bikes to travel around wazuka. The shop provides a map for cycling and you could visit the tea farms on the public path there. There are also locally produced teas which are excellent.

Such a lovely place with beautiful overlooking view of Wazuka town. This is a good spot to give your feet a rest and relax while drinking tea or just take a quick nap.

As a tourist, arrive here first for information and rental bikes.

下の和束茶カフェで手続きをしてからの利用になります。水曜日の11時頃に予約なしで行きましたが、ちょうど空いてるとの事で11:30〜12:30の枠で利用できました。天空カフェはスペース貸しのみで飲食は付いていないので、和束茶カフェで飲み物とお饅頭を購入しました。バイクは和束茶カフェの駐車場に停めて、歩いて行きます。利用手続き時に、鍵と近道地図を貰っているので、それに従い公園を横切り、飛び石で川を越え、急勾配の階段を登ります。山のテッペンにあるので、アクセスも爽快感も眺望もツリーハウスの比ではありません。到着すると、自分で鍵を開け、使用中の札を掲げ、エアコンをつけたら貸切の開始です。この日は抹茶レモンソーダを頂きましたが、とても美味しくて新しい味を発見した思いです。眺望はパノラマの茶畑と流れる川を眺めます。この日は鳥が風に乗って飛んでいる姿も見れて飽きずに過ごせました。受付の和束茶カフェの店員さんも気さくで親切な人で、とても良い時間を過ごせました。

非常におすすめです。ツリーハウスのような、秘密基地のような不思議でどこか懐かしい気持ちを味わえるカフェ。
下にある和束カフェさんでドリンクやお団子などが販売されているので、ぜひ購入されてください。カフェのスタッフさんは、とても親切で一歩先のサービスをいつも提供してくださり、友人にも自信を持って勧められるお店です。

和束茶カフェで受け付けを済ますと利用することができる絶景スポットです（予約推奨）。カフェというよりは秘密基地という感じで、小高い丘の上の小さなログハウスを貸し切り利用できます。部屋からは和束の茶畑や山並みを一望でき、クーラーもありますが、窓を開けると涼しい風にあたることもでき、気持良かったです。

ふもとの和束茶カフェでドリンクや和菓子を買うこともでき、天空カフェ内部で絶景を見ながら、ゆったりとしたカフェタイム、ちょっと贅沢なお昼寝を楽しむことができます。

持ち込みOKだそうですが、飲み物は和束茶カフェで頼めます。私は棒茶ソーダ。友人は煎茶をチョイス。お湯が入ったポット、茶葉が入った茶筒、急須、コップのセットを持って天空カフェへ。寒かったけど、エアコンも付いていたので平気でした。天空カフェまでの階段はかなり急できつかったけど、登った甲斐がある景色を味わえました。

初めてここに来ました。
コロナ禍で半分諦めていましたが、平日というのもあり空いていて良かっです。
下の「和束茶カフェ」で飲み物を買い、利用料を払ってトコトコと10分ちょっと歩いてたどり着きました😊
7月の末でとても暑い日でしたか、夏の匂いを堪能しながら歩くとあっという間でした！
スコーンをつまみながら飲むお茶は最高です。

カメムシを無視して、草だんごとバタフライピー紅茶まったりしてたっ

眼前に広がる緑の茶畑を独り占めした気分になれます。1時間の利用ですが、まったりさせてもらいました。
麓の和束茶カフェで予約し、飲み物や茶菓子を買い込んで10分程度の散歩（後半は少々キツイ階段です）で到着します。
また利用させてもらいたいと思います。

雄大な茶畑の景色に包まれながら、和束茶を頂ける空間です。
