This is a large market with a great selection of products for sale. Fresh produce, great bakeryand a nice selection of pre-made foods. They have almost anything you can imagine or want. Candy, alcohol, meats etc. Personally I try to avoid it on the weekends due to how busy they get. To avoid the crowd try to go during the week or during a lunch break. Definitely worth hitting up for a quick snack or full on grocery trip.

Great place for all of you local grocery needs. Selection is diverse and abundant. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Their selection of foods ready to eat is wide and anyone can find something yummy to eat.

You can use your debit/credit card here. Have the cashier swipe it instead of trying to use the chip. The chip may not work. Just place your card in the money tray by the register.
Meats are very expensive BUT... if you are a beef lover like me, take a look at the marbling and you will see why.
Produce prices are competitive, sometimes max value is the better spot for those.
The bakery is an absolute must visit. There are daily fresh baked specials and most of them are delicious beyond description. Avoid the bakery if you are begrudgingly keto.
The snack selection here is a HUGE hit for sending gift packages to the US or deployed friends and family.

This seems like a very local grocery store but still a very nice place for an American to go. The food here is very high quality and they present it extremely extravagantly. I am very happy that I found this place, and I will be going back while I stay in Misawa.

Wide range of foods, including a lot of gift boxes and candy/snack variety bags. This is our go to place to find fun things to give family and friends for a taste of Japan.

I love this place! Food is always amazing, the bakery selection is amazing and the fruit is ALWAYS so fresh. Fwi the cooked chicken meals are AMAZINGGGG

Kind of like a Japenese version of Whole Foods or Wegmans. Tons of fresh baked goods and prepared items (yakitori, rice dishes, sushi, etc.). Produce is a bit pricy compared to commissary but the quality of some items (like grapes) at Universe is better. I'd still get my bananas at the commissary tho.

I don't enjoy the baked goods as much as the local Yokomachi, but stores are clean and we'll stocked. Also accepts credit cards.

If you don't feel like cooking. This place has to go food! From sushi, salad, seafood,hotdogs, you name it,it's here.

Well stocked. Crowded on weekends, best to shop during the weekdays. Accepts most credit cards.
