ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama, an IHG Hotel

We were really looker after during our stay and given a room on thr 18th floor with and incredible skyline view in 2 directions that even had a massage chair!! I'm imagining the great room was due to our IHG One Rewards status. Can't believe our luck with this hotel and how well we we're looked after. Thank you!!

Friendly and responsive staff. Although the rooms are old style, the beds are really comfortable. There are various choices for the buffet breakfast. Fresh mix juice and coffee to go available.

I happened to stay at the ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama IHG Hotel during a series of earthquakes due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Japan on January 1st, 2024. Although Toyama was far away from the Noto Peninsula, experiencing a series of the big earthquakes and being exposed by rapidly changing information provided by media without knowing what might have happened next made me feel very unease and lonely at the moment. However, the ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama Hotel staff showed true hospitality immediately. I couldn’t have been more impressed with their professionalism and care. Despite the uncertain circumstances, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests. They promptly shared information about the situation and provided support, including distributing Onigiri and water to each room even when the elevators were not operational. Their dedication to guest safety was evident when they insisted on escorting guests down the emergency stairway when needed. Despite the challenges, the staff maintained a calm and reassuring demeanor throughout the ordeal. The following morning, the hotel seamlessly resumed its services, including opening the breakfast buffet, which was a welcome sight after the events of the previous night. This experience left me feeling safe, supported, and impressed by the professionalism of the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel staff. They even allowed me to stay one more night because I couldn’t go back to Tokyo since Hokuriku Shinkansen was suspended. I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional hospitality during the challenging time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toyama. Now Toyama is safe, so plz go travel and stay there to support Toyama🙏

We are here for ten days, flying home on Monday. The staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast selection is plentiful and very tasty. The service is excellent. The hotel is an impressive sight inside and out. Everything is very neat and organised. The rooms are clean and there is also an air purifier. The only slightly less positive thing for me is the size of the rooms, not enough space to move around and put things away in the closet (at least in our room). :)

Generally regarded as the best hotel in Toyama, the last stay had a few issues:

1. On one of the face cloths there was a remnant of dried blood or some other reddish brown substance. For a hotel of this stature, one generally does not expect to find such things.

2. The parking lot was quite full requiring parking in a somewhat distant location under a neighboring building. There is an underground connecting walkway to the hotel's basement parking, but for the international guest things are not well marked -- not to mention the parking area is quite tight and difficult to negotiate even in a relatively modestly sized vehicle.

Be that as it may, I plan to use this property again in the future.

I loved the room and their services. It had a tv,massage chair, mini treadmill, coffee table, and the most dominant beautiful view from the either side. They have a long list of breakfast menu,you would definitely try all of them (complimentary ;) )

One night only, amazing breakfast, the breakfast restaurant are on the floor, great politness and fantastic food and of course service, they are using silver cutlery instead of the easy stainless steal. Very clean and tidy, front office very accommodating to group requests and last minute change. Front office and bell service helped with 34 person luggage upon arrival. A lot of positive notes and this is very much appreciated indeed

It is located in a very convenient location. There is a beautiful park with the museum just opposite to this Hotel. The bar in its 19th floor, Astral, one of the best place to relax and enjoy the night view of the city.

Excellent service and staff. My daughter accidentally flush her very expensive medical contact lens down the wash basin drain. The staff quickly get a plumber to open up the bathroom sink and retrieved the lens within 30 minutes at 10PM. Very impressed that they didn’t take customers’ requests lightly and are willing to commit extra efforts to solve a problem.

Room is beautiful and clean. I really like it. Lunch was very delicious and cheap. Only one staff I don't like. When we check-in at 24th June the staff women was arrogant I don't like. But another staff was very friendly.

I stay for one night only. Breakfast in the morning, you can soak in hot water inside your room. Have WiFi

The location is not great if you are travelling by train. The bathroom was dated but the bed was very comfortable.

1.3 km from south Jr Station. Although no shuttle service, they happily called taxis for us. Rooms are on the small side, yet comfy.

Toyama staple. Nice view on the Toyama castle. Ok++ breakfast.

Nice and cosy room, the hotel located near Toyama castle not far from Toyama station, if you take taxi from the station it cost around 620-820 JPY or you can take loop line tram and get off on the side of the hotel.

Neat and clean. Nice view. Walking distance to Takayama station.

Very well service from the hotel. They have strategic location. You can find minimarket across the hotel and a great castle park on the other side.

Very nice, posh, clean, with really friendly and responsive staffs. Beds are really comfortable to sleep in. Amenities are complete and in very good condition.

Staff are really good at every stage. Be it cleaning to super table service and check in
