Rotate Toyama Sushi Toyama Station

I've heard very good things about the conveyor belt sushi in Toyama. They have really high quality fish and different selections compared to other places.

First time having Nodoguro and Buri, they both tasted delicious. It was crab season so we got some crab sushi, didn't get to take photos of all the sushi that we had but we had quite a few dishes.

Popular sushi restaurant that located opposite to Toyama Station, very convenient.

Sushi is fresh and tasty, I like their konbu ginger also. Crunchy and fresh! Bought one to bring back home 😀.

It would be good if they can let people know that need to get a queue number from automatic machine at the entrance. We wasted some time queuing without getting number, luckily one kind couple swapped their number with us after knowing our situation.

Was in Toyama a couple days and had dinner here both days. The first day was a Wednesday and it was raining, so we had no wait. Honestly one of the best sushi I have eaten in a while. So good that the next day we came back, and this time there was about a 35 minute wait, but worth it. The staff are also very nice!
Highly recommend if you ever come to Toyama!

Delicious sushi! Ordered the normal and special set. The special set came with their signature firefly squid, which was fresh and did not disappoint! All the sushi was fresh and they have English menu. Eel sushi and the squid sushi were the highlights! Another great thing about this tea is the kombu soup, which was absolutely amazing! Great to drink after the heavy seafood meal. One of the best sushi places I’ve been to. Highly recommended.

Well worth the 15-30 minute wait. This isn't a typical rotating belt sushi place - orders are placed on a tablet and made on the spot. The sushi was praiseworthy and the prices very reasonable. Service was immaculate and very accommodating to non-japanese speakers. The chef was friendly and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We are traveling Japan for two weeks and this is the BEST sushi we’ve had! The staff is extremely friendly, the fish super fresh and cut infront of you, and you will find a wide variety of very tasty bites. One of our favorites was the seared scallop. We reached the restaurant on a Thu at 7:30pm and had to queue only for 10mins. Perfect experience, Thank you!!

So tasty and very nice staff. English menu and fish is amazingly fresh. Try the fried white shrimp.

Just across from our hotel we had some of the best sushi we’ve eaten in Japan at Rotate Toyama Sushi. They bring fresh fish caught from along Toyama Bay each day and you can try local specialties like White Shrimp, Firefly Squid, and Blackthroat fish. Known as the Jewel of Toyama Bay, white shrimp are a specialty product of Toyama Prefecture. Toyama Bay is the only place in the world to catch white shrimp in large quantities. They are crystal white with soft and sweet shells. The White Shrimp sushi tasted so fresh and a bit sweet too. We both really liked it and the Blackthroat. They have all your favorite sushi and some rolls and a really detailed menu in Japanese, English, and Chinese which makes it super easy to order. Local Toyama sake too and we really enjoyed both types that they suggested to us. A great find right across from Toyama Station and perfect for those staying at the Daiwa Roynet Ekimae hotel.

Fresh and delicious 🤤 sushi. Friendly staff and very accommodating for children. Strongly recommended.

Fresh seafood, clean and traditional style restaurant.

The daily specials were fresh, and the service was quick. We came early so there was no wait. Prices are reasonable, too, for sushi.
Oishii, as they say.

So good we came here twice during our brief 2.5 day stay in Toyama. Long lines all day but the waiting time is not too bad if you avoid peak hours e.g 5pm and after 8pm. Great selection of the freshest produce from Toyama Bay. Definitely worth it, so order as much as you wish because you probably won’t find anything close in bigger cities like Tokyo.

We came 20 minutes before the last order and the chefs whipped up a fantastic feast for us. They have an English menu with helpful pictures and explanations. It’s very easy to order.
I highly recommend this place because it’s so conveniently located and the food is very reasonably priced. For 2 people, we spent less than $50 and stuffed ourselves with sushi (we didn’t order anything too expensive though)

Fantastic place to have sushi! There is always queue at the door. You book the table in the machine and they call you when is your time. Try the 3 tuna nigiri and the white prawn.

Reasonable with fantastic size of sushi.
The quality is great and I’ll definitely come visit here again if there’s any chance of visiting Toyama for sure.

Mostly counter seats. Orders are placed by writing each dish name on an order sheet in Japanese. I didn't see an English menu.
