Southern Beach Hotel & Resort Okinawa

Great value, room was spacious and very clean, all amenities available! Microwave though available somewhere near reception. Staff were very friendly:) There was a bus from the airport that goes to the hotel, very convenient!
The best thing was the breakfast buffet! It was so big and had lots of variety, The quality of food was great!
Indoor and outdoor pools were nice, one friday night they had a live musician show next to the pool. The beach was very close.
We had a great stay 😄

Easy access to and from the airport by taxi. Great buffet breakfast and reasonable rates for the hotel room. Enjoyed our stay there with the very friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful scenic view.
Because located through industrial workplace, may hard to find.
Beautiful sand beach is accessable in front of the hotel, and is opened just until 5 to 6 PM.
Indoor pool opened until 9 to 10 PM as far as i remenber.
Parking lot(Times Parking) is located south of the main building and is free for hotel users by self ticket stamping machine which is near reception area.
Most of all, breakfast buffet is quality and affordable option, you'd be better to add or to include.

*Service was professional and friendly enough, half the staff at hotel was foreigners whose English was limited, not to say the expectation is they should know English though. But it was good enough, service could have been more of a touch of human empathy however..

*For about 1500yen buffet, it was an all you can eat buffet, for what it's worth to get your day started with food and drinks, completely worth it I must say, especially with the views.
*There were a lot of negstive reviews about the construction site view. All I can say is, you get what you pay for.
*If you pay for the more superior room you will get the beach view. It could have been stated somewhere their is construction going on and to recommend the superior, so at least visitors and guests know to book accordingly.

*It was a great stay and had almost everything in the hotel. Eg. Convenience store, electric bike hire, restaurants, bar, buffet restaurants, pools, outdoor play park, beachside, wedding chapel and more.. Location was out of the way of main areas, but if you just want to stay at the beaches, this is it!

Amazing! Beautiful ocean view, quick walk to beach. 2 pools, one inside and warmed! 1 pool slide must be 110cm my kids and i had a blast. Harbor view, lots of construction.

The resort is great, only the location can be a problem. If you have a rental car it shouldn't be a problem, but otherwise you will have to rely on the bus connecting the airport to go to Naha city, which tales around 50 minutes instead of 25 minutes by car.

Beautiful hotel wirh exquisite amenities! Service was top notch from the moment we stepped out of the cab to the moment we left. The staff was very gracious and no question was too silly. We found many items at the gift shop and the evening dining was wonderful! The breakfast buffet was very large and had multiple choices to please even the most discerning palate. The pools were clean and the landscape was well tended. The view of the ocean from our room was breathtaking! Only negative was that we wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!

Overall we had a great experience! Kids loved using the pool. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. There is also a beach and park behind the hotel. Dinner buffet was delicious with many options. The room was large with enough room for a family of 5 to have their own bed. Will stay here again next time we are down south. I also used the spa and got a massage. It was a good massage and very relaxing.

Great spacious clean rooms. Good facilities, swimming pool a bit on the small side. Beach is across the road and small. Sand here is coral sand not quartz sand if that makes any difference to anyone. On the downside, it's out off the way the airport approach is over the beach. If you do book here ask for a room to the back as on the front is a dock yard for ship repairs and not very pretty.

Free Private lounge access for 9&10/F visitors where supplies 4 sessions refreshment from 0700 till midnight. Wine and drink are unlimited supply too. Close to beach with 3 minutes walking distance. Three restaurants suit every individual needs. A football field sized carpark next to hotel.

Hotel very nice and very clean. Views from both sides are beautiful. Staff are very nice and willing to help. The breakfast has a nice mix of local favourites and traditional faire. Pool is super fun and easy access to the beach. Highly recommend!

My stay has been amazing! It is one of the most accommodating hotels I have stayed at. It is clean, spacious, and has a super friendly staff. The ocean view is great and it is a great location next to the beach and airport.

I just love this Hotel. I had my wedding here due to which I can say that service here is great. After a year later I came back here for a week stay and the service was same. nothing changed. Food is also good. except for the souvenir shop, you can find the same stuff outside for cheaper.

This hotel is a favorite day trip destination for many locals. An overnight stay includes use of the indoor heated pool and some spa services, free wifi and parking.

The best feature of the hotel is its lunch buffet. The Reir Ocean View restaurant at the Southern Beach Hotel and Resort is highly recommended and probably one of the best value and most sumptuous lunch buffets in Okinawa, with ample free parking and a spectacular view of the East China Sea.

At any give time, it offers seasonal varieties of international, Japanese and Okinawan cuisine to fully satiate every palate, very reasonably priced. You'll savor varieties of bread, soup, Okinawa soba, the ubiquitous Japanese curry, hot dishes, meats, fish, vegetables, pasta, salads, chirashi rice, a pizza corner, and an a-la-minute corner for the dish of the day.

The dessert buffet alone is worth the destination with ice cream and sugar and spice creations that usually sell at hotels and patisseries for JPY 500 for each plate, all of which you can have at your leisure.

As of today, the lunch buffet is priced at JPY 1,700 or roughly USD 15.00 per person. Children have discounted rates.

Right next door is Bibi beach for a day in the sun and the ocean. Lifeguards are always on duty throughout the day. Several water sports and leisure activities are available for the entire family.

Another fine beach is about ten minutes away (Toyosaki Seaside Park /Churasan Beach) with a kiddie water park.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful, multilingual staff. Indoor and outdoor pool was great, and ocean view room was spectacular! Would definitely visit again :)
