The food is great and freshly made by local ingredients, and it's right next to the town's fish market. You will like it very much if you are a fish lover, since they have different fish everyday which you can choose to have it simmered or butter fried, but if you arrive late some options may be sold out. My partner said the appetiser is amazing.

They also have special menu written on the blackboard and I managed to find some vegetarian options, the fried tofu is lovely.

It's a very popular and busy restaurant so you may need to wait for your table. Oh one more thing, please don't miss their classy dessert!

Be prepared to queue: we arrived around 18:30 on a weekend and waited one hour to be seated.

The butter sauce of the fish is incredible. Unfortunately the only fish remaining was not an Okinawan one for arriving so late, but it was still amazing.

Only talking on the level of taste, this place offers the best of this kind. I didn't expect it could cook a simple cuisine of fried fish up to this much delicate. Its tofu pizza is also a delicacy even in the perspective of internationals. Few with which I'm not satisfied is, it doesn't have an English menu and its waiters and waitresses can't speak English either. Furthermore, this could be merely my feeling, but the attitude of the female manager felt like a bit over-proud.

One of the best fish restaurants in Okinawa. I got the butter fried fish set which lived up to my expectations. This is one of my favourite fish dishes and I had it in many places. Here, it is served with a special flavoured butter sauce. I chose the red (awamori and aged tofu) version which was great. The sashimi started, tsukemono, red miso soup and desert nicely round out the meal. The service is also excellent and friendly.

Waitress is very friendly. They do not express unhappiness and annoying attitude even though you can read their food list in menu. There is a English menu for you to order. Mainly selling seafood, especially fish. If you like to have whole fish for lunch or dinner. This is definitely a right place for you.

English menu is available. The butter fried fish was very well cooked. The appetizer and desert for the set meal was simple but thoughtful execution of the ingredients. Credit card payment is only available for dinner, so lunch is cash only. We also tried the sea grape don which was ok. Go for the fish. There are many sizes and options available. Prices for the fish set starts from 1,800 yen. Very good value for money.

Really good food! Must eat the fish dishes, especially the pan fried fish! We didn't know how to order the fish, so we pointed at other table's order. Hehe. Totally enjoyed the meal here! It's near the market which is worth a visit too!

Bata Yaki, known as garlic butter fish is a famous okinawa dish. Quality is very unstable elsewhere. In here, you will find the best garlic butter fish in town. It’s always full house even under Covid-19. It always explain how good is this place!

One of the best southern authentic contemporary Okinawa restaurants. Fresh Fish caught that day from nearby docks. Food Awesomely prepared and great atmosphere.

This cozy restraint near southern beach hotle . They cook quite good fish dish and miso soup . For the foreigner maybe gonna feel confusion , bcz you need choose the fish by yourself for grill . Just ask the waitress for help and they they will give you some suggestion . Service is good as well .

The simple menu is very well executed. It is one of the finest display of the local cuisine, which features grilled fish, tofu and champu.

Awesome fish. Weird but very tasty bitter melon based condiment available by the bottle to take home.
