I was looking for something more modern and only a single piece, so the baskets were not a good fit for me. The very kind and knowledgeable Jeremy showed me around, explained how to shop in the barn and gave me the great advice to also check the small outlet section of their recently discontinued and current production. I found the perfect item for an unbeatable price. I also did the self-guided tour through their manufacturing hall and learned a lot. Throughout they have little displays of one item in all it's stages of production. And I saw two people handpainting items with incredible care and focus. Gave me a new appreciation for the value of the products.

You can choose 5000yen or 10000yen basket and hunt whatever you love here. 10000yen choice has more colourful items in its zone and you also can pick items from 5000yen zone. 5000yen choice can only pick from its own zone and items are more blue patterns with white background which is simple and pretty! Finding a way to fit in the most in that basket is a challenge and fun! I got over 30 large items such as plates,bowls,sake bottles and many small items such as small sake tassens. Great value for money, lots of fun and free coffee!!!

Very fun experience to dig through the various boxes looking for treasure wares! There are good finds and definitely recommend the 11,000 yen course.

Amazing kiln with beautiful porcelain! The staff is absolutely amazing, I can only recommend to visit the factory and do a round in the treasure hunting!

Quite unique and fun way to spend two hours. Don't expect to find exactly what you are looking for (e. g. there's not many big bowls), but if you dig around long enough you'll probably find some things you like. My favorite part was to make everything fit in the basket (3D tetris). Before I was a little worried that it would be crowded, but it's large enough so that no one gets into each other's way at all and you can explore freely.

I was given a tour of the factory here at Kouraku Kiln, by Sebastiao. It was amazing to learn about the pottery process that they use and see it in action - start to end of the process (I am completely new to ceramics/pottery and this was a fantastic introduction)!! In addition to the wonderful factory tour, Sebastiao also gave me some great tips of other things to see and do around Arita, for example, to visit the Touzan Shrine, which I would have undoubtedly overlooked!

My only regret is that I was unable to take advantage of the ‘treasure hunt’ - where you get to fill a basket of treasures for a fixed fee - as my luggage space wouldn’t allow for it! I did get to see the pottery up for grabs however, and I highly recommend taking advantage of this great deal if you have the chance! I was given a small plate as a souvenir gift which will be lovely to display at home, and I enjoyed some iced green tea from a lovely cup, which I was able to select myself! Thank you so much for a lovely experience!!

가족이 가서 5500엔 바구니 1개로 채웠어요. 그릇 좋아해서 집에 놓을 공간만 있으면 바구니 1개 더 채우고 싶었을만큼 마음에 들었습니다. 저는 바구니가 기준을 넘어서 자 대보고 500엔 추가금 납부했어요. ㅎㅎ
저희 집에 가져온 그릇은 제 몫으로 가져온 절반정도.

한국분이 계셔서 편하게 헌팅할 수 있었어요. 인심 좋게 챙겨주셔서 막판에 다들 웃음꽃 :)

5500엔과 11000엔 중 고민되시는 분은, 간결한 백자, 청색무늬 정도로 만족되시면 5500엔. 장식용 화려한 컬러 그릇, 커피잔이 필요하시면 11000엔으로 가세요-
업장을 확장 준비중이시래요. 나중에 가시는 분은 더 큰 매장에서 더 많은 제품 보실 수 있겠네요^^

가시기 전에 어떤 용도의 그릇이 필요한지, 어떤 디자인 그릇은 꼭 가져가고 싶으신지 대략 정하고 가시면 더 좋은 헌팅하실 수 있어요.

11,000円と5,500円の二つの買う放題プランがあり、バスケットをいっぱいにすればOKです、楽しいですよ！時間制限は90分で、11:00から12:30と13:00から15:00の二回のセッションがあります。もっと早いか遅いセッションがあるかどうかは店に聞いてください。店内には高級な焼き物の窯もあり、たくさん買いました。

There are two all-you-can-BUY plans, priced at 11,000 and 5,500 yen, where you can fill up the basket and have fun! There's a 90-minute time limit, with sessions from 11:00 to 12:30 and 13:00 to 15:00. You'll need to ask the shop about earlier or later sessions. The store also features high-end pottery kilns, and I bought a lot.

민무늬 좋아해서 하얗고 뽀얀 그릇이 너무 예쁘네요.
5천엔의 행복입니다. 그릇 종류가 다양하진 않은데 심플하고 예쁜 도자기 겟해서 좋았고 몇개는 흑점이나 바닥 스크래치 등 있지만 예민하지 않은 편이라 문제없었어요.

박스래핑 해주셨는데 기내수화물용 사이즈가 아니어서 공항에서 다른 포장백에 재포장 후 입장했어요.
숙소에 오시면 기내 캐리용 사이즈로 미리 포장해두시길 추천드립니다. 5천엔 코스 체험했는데 무게 8kg이었습니다.(만엔 코스도 바구니가 같아 비슷할 듯 해요. 인당 하나, 개당 10키로까지 기내 수화물이 가능하니 참고하세요.)

한국인 직원분이 친절하시고 헌팅그릇 짝찾기도 도와주시고 하셨어요. 헌팅장소에 벌이 있고 더우니 주의하시면 좋을 듯 해요. (물리진 않았어요!ㅎㅎㅎ)

楽しいトレジャーハンティングでした。
5千円基準、8キロの重さでした。
家に帰ってから洗ってみたら何箇所か黒点や傷などあったのですが、気楽に使うか土産の用途のため、問題にはならなかったです。
蜂がいるので、アレルギーや虫が苦手な方は注意してください。(刺されはしませんでした。)
