white bait raw/boiled with tuna “salad” sort of, it was super interesting and a lovely new dish to try. wasn’t too salty like some other whitebait dishes I’ve tried. no queue at all, with a nice view of the sea…sashimi was super fresh too. waiters spoke English, the whitebait bread was surprisingly really good

Fresh food, thoughtful staff, and a great location.

The food was delicious, the crokke chowder and the fried octopus was great too. The service was quick.

This is a must if you are visiting Enoshima!

Only draw back was maybe not enough rice in the bowl.

We went there on a weekend day, my cue was 86, waited for 2:30hrs! The foods didn’t let us down , it was delicious. The staff are friendly and diligently working.

This is my fav seafood restaurant in Enoshima. They got waiter who is very friendly and speaks English fluently which makes the visit easier for non Japanese speakers. The food we ordered was awesome and all other things looks awesome. Since Enoshima doesn’t have many places open later in the evening, this place works out perfect for afternoon island visitor like me. I took the cheese bread home and that was good too. Highly recommended.

Amazing shirasu dishes served! We had both tempura and boiled versions and both were so delicious. Tempura was lightly coated w batter and fried to perfection. Their seafood ingredients were very fresh too. I am already craving for it as I’m penning down this review!

Really a good place. I would recommend this as a must visit. Owner is very thoughtful. Provided chairs, blankets & a heater for waiting guest outside the shop (it was 9degrees celcius when I was there). Price ranging fro 1300cto 1900 Yen. Tasty meal, & really fresh.

Great restaurant with more than affordable prices. We were 2 adults and took a set for 3980 yen, we were not able to finish it=) The waiter was super hospital and was speaking english. The place was not overcrowded so no waiting in queue.

A place to enjoy nice and typical food there.
Whitebait rice with tampura was really really good. Love the crunchy bite from the tampura and the smooth and rich texture from the whitebait.
The portion was huge even for a normal guy. I could barely finish my bowl. We ordered 2 meals and left like half bowl of rice.
Recommend to share a meal for 2 persons if you're not big eaters.

For the main store, this place seems pretty small and crowded. Don't let that detract you from coming, as it's very popular for a reason. I opted for the 4 color rice bowl, which consists of raw Sakura shrimp, raw shirasu, negi toro, ikura (Salmon eggs), and a raw (or half-cooked if you prefer) egg. Mix it all up and enjoy! It came very fresh and it was not salty or overtly fishy tasting at all! Delicious!

Raw shirasu is not for everyone, particularly with western foreigners. The staff told me it's particular with some of them, as they are sometimes not even willing to try the free samples of cooked shirasu they hand out. Just be aware if you tend to avoid fishy textures.

If you time it right, you might be able to get away with little to no wait. I came right at about 3:30 PM and I only had about a 15 min wait. When I was leaving, however, it certainly picked up.

Very famous restaurant and always full of crowds. So try to get numbered ticket and plan your tour around the island accordingly so you dont have to waste time waiting there all the time. We were told our waiting time around 3 hours and that gave us ample time to go up the hill and back down.

The food didn’t disappoint. The portion is huge and delicious. For the price its very reasonable thus why you see there are more crowds here than other similar restaurants. Try to get the seats upstairs by the window. The staff is friendly and will try to help your enquiries despite the language barrier.

This is quite small restaurant in Enoshima. Local “Teishokuya” style and very narrow inside.
However, Nama Shirasu (the low young sardines) are very tasty and fresh. The bowl size was quit large for woman but this is highly recommended even if you cannot eat whole of bowl!!!!

Very long wait but very delicious raw shirasu fish bowl 生しらす. Crowded place. But the food is such a worthy.

The foods amount is big enough for two people and it is delicious.
Recommend when you visit enoshima.

Superb fresh seafood dishes, particularly the local delicacy: shirasu (whitebait)! For brunch or dinner, Go early (10-11 am) as there could easily build long queues

the tobicho don was great, lots of fresh raw fish and we struggled to finish all of it.. friendly to tourists too
