Yamakawa Bokujyo Milk Plant

Highly recommended to go. There are fresh milk, milk ice creams, yogurt, milk shake and milk snacks and products for sale. Also there are special beef in bento for sale or in freezer. The yogurt is not sour (just a bit of sourness) which is prefect for people who doesn’t like sour yogurt. Best to try the vanilla ice cream if you are a milk lover.
When we go there on a Sunday around 4pm something, they are feeding the cows and the calves. It’s nice to be able to watch them graze on the feeds given. Calves are given milk to drink.
The scenery there is pretty as well. If you are coming by public transport, take the JR train to Onuma station and walk about 10-15mins to the Milk Plant straight from the station.

Fantastic pit stop between our drive from Niseko to Hakodate. It's about 40mins from Hakodate and if you haven't tried Hokkaido milk products yet, this is where it's at.

We got several varieties of ice cream, in waffle cones and a normal cone, and was extremely creamy. My personal favourite was the vanilla, but the fruit flavours seem to have real fruit.

Highly recommend!

If possible, try all the varieties they have to offer. So so so worth the visit. Pet friendly on the outdoor sitting. Bring a cooler bag to takeaway.

Many locals visit this place for high-quality, delicious-flavored ice creams! I had a super thick & yummy milkshake. And we bought a few gifts to take back home such as milk cheese cake and milk bambunchken. Also, a place with great customer service! I would love to come here again. It also felt very local!

I love the ice cream here, very tasty. They also have other milk products sold there. It's worth the short walk from the JR Onuma station (大沼).

Do yourself a favour and grab some ice-cream, some gouda cheese and an iced-coffee. Delicious! And cheaper than if you buy in town.

Real down to earth owner and the soft crea is just as good! They also serve meat sandwiches and sometimes philly cheesesteaks and good cheese sandwiches.

Really good vanilla softserve and melon milkshake.

Marvelous dairy products & an ideal place to stop over for an ice-cream even thoungh in snowing winter times!

原本沒有計劃要來的，開車經過發每台車都開進來，馬上掉頭回來。果然沒來錯。
牛奶冰真的很濃超好吃。來的時候沒吃個牛肉很後悔。
真心推，大家來吃一份牛肉呀。

今回で2回目の訪問になります。牛乳瓶に入っている牛乳飲んだことのない超濃厚です。1度ご賞味あれ。蓋の裏にヨーグルトのようなものが付いていて、もったいないけど、指ですくって食べました。後から気づきましたが、よく振ってから飲んでくださいとの事でした。

混雑していたが待たされることはなく、提供も非常にスピーディー
牛が飼育されている様子も見ることができる

大沼駅前の坂を登った左側にあります。
広い駐車場の奥に牛舎と店舗があり、牛さんが見れます。店舗内とテラスにイートインスペースがあり暖かな店内でもソフトクリームなど食べれます。
自販機で食券を買い、レジに持っていくスタイル。
ジャー黒弁当とホットミルクをいただきました。ホットミルクは物によって温度の差がありました。
ジャー黒弁当は2種類の部位のお肉が柔らかくてとても美味しかったです。
