Toyoko Inn Shin Hakodate Hokuto Eki Minamiguchi

Had to catch a shinkansen early the next morning and the hotel is just a minute away from the train station. There's not much around so they serve complimentary curry in the evening and free breakfast in the morning!
Room was quiet and clean.

This place is suited to travellers who wish to rest for a night and board the shinkansen early the next morning. It's a short walk from the entrance of shin-hakodate-hokuto station. Breakfast and dinner included. Kiosk check in with assistance from staff. Vending machines with drinks, snack food, 3 minutes noodle. Room was attractive, clean, comfortable quiet. TV, telephone, wifi, USB charging, two power points. Shower water was hot. I set the air-conditioning to 17'C but the thermometer showed 21'C. Breakfast was a buffet of meat, vegetables, rice, sweet bread. No fruit. Dinner was a plate of chicken curry with rice. There wasn't a lot of meat / veg in the sauce. If you think you'll still be hungry, bring some fruit or cake.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Good location just across from station, rental car places and nice restaurants just around the corner.
They provided free breakfast and free curry for dinner. Room was nice, comfortable bed, clean, we got very peaceful sleep :)
Lastly our appreciation to the kind gentleman, receptionist who help us with our check in and fixed our reservation for the 2nd night (yes! I booked the wrong location) He was very helpful and considerate. The whole staff’s were nice and polite too.Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stayed.
Ps. There are so many nice attractions near by that can reach by train or car, my favorite was Onuma park :)

Rooms excellent for the price. Location just few steps from JR Station and very convenient. We stayed two nights -arrived at night from Kobe and after resting overnight, we took a short trip to Onuma Quasi National Park and then to Hakodate using the Hokkaido train (included in our JR pass), returned to hotel for second night then left to Sapporo….hotel was very cheap (USD$58.00 per night, including a basic breakfast) wow!

Great location if you're needing to get on an early train. Very clean and comfortable rooms and hotel. Loved the free curry dinner and spread for breakfast.

Clean rooms, washing machines, breakfast included and less then a 1 minute walk from the train station. Helpful staff along with beer vending machines.

It was a very nice service hotel. We stay there because we rented a car so we need to return it in that area and take the next morning shinkansen to Tokyo. So for us the location was perfect. However there was nothing else in that area. But the hotel has everything we need. There was free amenities that we can get in the lobby and they even provide free dinner ( simple curry rice but very yummy ) and the breakfast was pretty good. It definitely worth it's price

I absolutely loved it. Stayed for only one night, so I can get to train easy. Came at around 21h, and got free dinner which was completely unexpected. They just said, "we have some left". There are all amenities in the bathroom(towels, toothpaste, brush, conditioner, soap, hairdryer... ), also breakfast buffet was very tasty, there were planty of vegetables, chicken, eggs, nuddle soups, sweets, milk, and you could take it to go also. Feed me and I am happy. So I might be a bit biased. 😂

We have had great experiences with toyoko hotels but this one we really thank the workers who went above to help us resolve our incorrect booking date.
Rooms were clean, location beside the JR Station is perfect, and service was really great.

Staff at the front desk were very helpful. The evening curry and morning breakfast service are especially helpful at a location like this. It is very close to the Shinkansen station, but there isn't much orher development in the immediate area. Staff at the meals were also very helpful and friendly.
The rooms were good sized and very clean. The laundry facilities on the first floor were also clean and very useful to access during the meal service.

Love the free curry rice dinner! Especially in the cold winter.

Perfect location steps away from the shinkansen, and rooms are clean and looks new.

田舎にいる家族が五稜郭にある病院を行き来するため、付き添いで札幌から来ました。新函館北斗駅からは目の前で、わかりやすい。機械でのセルフチェックインですが、スタッフがちゃんと補助してくれます。必要なアメニティ（私は歯ブラシ、石鹸、化粧水セット）を持って、お部屋に入ります。できれば、くし（コーム）があると良かった。朝食は思っていたより豪華で焼きそば、オムレツ、ウインナーなどありました。お部屋への持ち帰りに便利なおにぎりもありました。またぜひ来たいなと思います。

して他の部屋のドアの開け閉めがうるさくベッド低すぎで駐車場も狭く早いもの勝ちで1泊で
無理だとキャンセルしました！
函館まで30分位圏内で検索かけたら
良さそうなので来てみたら、すべてにおいて最高でした！連泊どころか住みたいです！！

近くにコンビニが無いからか？
深夜に到着してもカレーライスが貰え
朝食前の出発ではクロワッサン等3つも菓子パンが貰えた。
バスルームも天井シャワー、バリヤフリーで快適でした。

訪れたのは、新緑が香る頃😃
列車で遠路をやって来ました‼当初は、函館駅と新函館北斗駅は、距離的にもっと近いのかと思っていましたが、函館駅に行く際、はこだてライナーを利用して案外離れていることに気付きました✨
名前の通り、新函館北斗駅の南口から、そびえているこのホテルは、一人旅の心細さから、私を守ってくれた気がしました❗
ホテルは、新しく。水色を基調とした部屋は気分を盛り上げてくれ、まさに基地をうたっているだけあって居心地が良かったです👍
翌朝の朝食も美味しく、👊😃💕と言いたくなる夢の時間でした‼
