Nice fun stadium to watch the baseball. Japanese people love baseball and the crowd goes wild. Pom poms streamers and chanting everywhere and cheerleaders.
This is the Hanshin tigers home ground. Grab a beer or some sake or tea and check it out. They sell food too obviously, or bring your own.

Went on a tour of this place. You'll need some Japanese proficiency or a pocket translator to understand the tour, which is done all in Japanese. Definitely a highlight was being able to step into the Tigers dugout and onto the field to get up close pics. Was a nice day as well. Would love to come back to witness a game, Tigers or the Koshien Tournament.

1st Japanese baseball stadium I ever attended for a game. Awesome vibes and atmosphere. This stadium apparently is one of the few remaining stadiums Babe Ruth played in. If there for a day game have Irish Warpaint (sun block) and something to put on the seats they may get a little bit hot.

A must go place shall you are a true baseball fan!
The stadium tour was short but sweet, though conducted in Japanese, you are able to watch the 3rd base bullpen area from above during game day. In addition, walk through the post game conference backdrop for photo. And to the 3rd base dugout and actually walk onto the field to see the magnificent and historical stadium.
On top of that, the museum is also a must-go! There are two parts, entrance is cross the street, and the other part is located within the stadium, where can be walked to via the sky bridge. The batting and pitching practice is a lot of fun, while watching the history of the team and the special moments via VR makes you feel like you are part of the special occasion.

Not as big as other more modern stadiums but Koshien has hisssstory. Great place to watch the Hanshin Tigers. Bathrooms are clean but could use more stalls for women. Food stalls are plenty and with great selections. The surrounding area is also great with a museum tour and a batting cage and several restaurants and shops to check out.

First time visiting this stadium after buying tickets the same day. The stadium is one of my favorites that I've visited and it has a great atmosphere. The ushers were really helpful in showing us to our seats and the view from Left outfield was great. It had good views of the home fan section and was close to the away fan section too so we got to hear the cheers from both fanbases. From outfield it also had good views of the mountains and the sunset.

A great experience here in during my childhood in the 1990's. Wow we are in Japan! Where my Mom is from! As an American I get to experience the happiness of the Japanese baseball and halftime show. There is very good food outside of the stadium. There is a family and friendly and fun atmosphere to support a good game here.

It's very easy to get to the stadium via train and very easy to find your seats once you're there. I'd arrive early if you want to go shopping, but there are team gear and goods stores right in front of the train station and inside the stadium. A wide selection of food stalls for hot dogs, tonkatsu, yakitori, and desserts.

I bought tickets for games that got cancelled for rain, but the refund procedure was simple. In one of these cases, I wasn't sure if I'd get a refund, but someone from the stadium called to talk to me. Excellent customer service, and his English was better than mine! Tigers fan for life now.

Since baseball game is a big thing in Japan, it’s really a good experience to watch the game in their Stadiums. This was my first time to watch and the place was so big. It was a bit hot though but the games are really fun to watch. Just be sure to wear sunblock, cap and bring a towel (you can also buy the cooling towel they sell in the gift shop). It is not their practice to use an umbrella since it will obstruct the view of the other watchers.

Even though it's a Baseball stadium I went here for the JPOP artist Aimyon's concert.

This concert was attended by 45000 people and since this stadium is well built we had no issues of large crowds.

Got to experience my first Japanese Baseball game at the oldest and tradition rich Hanshin Koshien Stadium. Loved the experience and gave me a new appreciation for baseball. I had a lot of fun and hope to go to another one some day. Built in 1924 and Babe Ruth as part of an American League contingent played here in 1934. This is the place to experience Japanese Baseball.

Absolutely a must go to if you are a baseball fan of any sorts. Casual, die hard, new, and old fans can really enjoy their time in this stadium. It is friendly to non-Japanese speakers and the food is absolutely awesome. There are many choices and all reasonably priced. The atmosphere in the stadium is electric and is absolutely breathtaking. I sat in the outfield in the Tiger’s fan section and it was so much fun. I definitely recommend trying to sit that general area. The stadium is also very close to the stations as well, so transportation to and from is very easy!

Hanshin Koshien is Japan’s oldest ball stadium and the experience of a baseball game in Japan was a highlight of our trip. Japanese baseball games are much more fun than in the States.

Spectacular ballgame experience! The crowds are lively and chant for each batter with their own specific chants.

The crowds here are hilariously awesome. Would recommend westerner come to a game just for that alone. Far better stadium prices then in north America as well.

Great stadium!! We visited here to watch the Tigers play the Swallows in May 2019.
The stadium is easily accessible if you come in by train at the Koshien station. There is a Starbucks, Yoshinoya, other places to eat as well as many merch vendors just outside the stadium. You are allowed to bring food & drinks into the stadium if you wanted to.
We got out tickets online so we had to print out a QR code to exchange for the actual tickets to get in. The process was so easy as there are numerous staff & security outside the stadium who are able to guide you.
The stadium itself was very clean and pretty lively. The restaurants and shops are easily accessible on every level. I got a kick out of the cute girls with beer keg backpacks walking up & down the stadium yelling that they had beer for sell!
The only issue worth noting is how cramped the seats are. They are not one bit comfortable. My knees were hitting the seat in front of me & I'm only 5'7".
The fans are great though as they are so involved throughout the game. They have speicfic cheers for each player and really get into it making rhythmic beats using small rubber bats. They really made for an enjoyable & exciting atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend attending a game if you happen to be in Osaka during baseball season!

Attended the 104th edition of the High School summer baseball tournament. Organization and moving crowds quickly between games is impressive. The stadium is a great old Ivy covered wall building. Inside is spacious but in summer it’s just so hot with no roof!
