Richmond Hotel Akita Ekimae

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here in Akita. Rooms very clean. Moderate queen non smoking was about 18square metres. Bed comfortable but firm. Good shower pressure. Asked for a quiet room and got one. Having seen breakfast pics wish we had paid for one of them since there was the famous sashimi in a bottle. Very friendly check in. They called a restaurant for us on request. Great location for shinkansen and shopping and convenience stores. Great price too. Would stay again. English is spoken here.

Really great service from the front desk. Nice comfy rooms. Best Japanese breakfast we had during the whole trip.

There's an experience. While i have been checked out in Richmond Hotel and on my way to the other place, i found that i left something in my room. I called respection for the research and help me found my stuff, and they help me send my stuff to the hotel that i will live next. 🥺 Really thank you for helping me find my stuff.

Excellent hotel. Close to Akita station and shops. Staff were efficient and professional. We stayed in a double room non smoking and found it to be larger than most Japanese business hotels. The sheets and bathroom were clean as well. Coin laundry is available between 200-500yen depending on the wash cycle, and washing status can be tracked via the TV. Buffet breakfast provided a good variety of Japanese foods (e.g. grilled fish, soups, curry) and salads. Western foods were a bit lacking for those who are after a western style buffet. Overall an enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved this hotel and we recommend it if you're in Akita. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was large enough to be comfortable, everything was beautiful and new, really clean and well thought out. They also offer you free wifi to use around town which was impressive. The staff are very helpful and professional, we were very happy with our stay. They have recently renovated the hotel so its a great time to stay here

Business hotel near the main station!
Rooms were not very large but equipped with everything a Traveller can dream of, from Telefon charger to coffee maker, trouser press and a fully functional mobile phone! All spotless clean!
Breakfast included!

Great location. Lovely room. Lots of bath and facial amenities. The staff was nice. We were even able to wash our clothes.

It is so nice to be able to check my washing status from my room. Free mobile phone can also be used during our stay. Cool...

Great hotel, stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting tourist sites around Akita Ken. Super clean, modern, large rooms (for Japan), and staff very helpful. Close to station, and most Akita sights. Good value for money.

the biggest room within our trip and the location is good, clean and most of the facility is available, laundry machine is available with fees needed.

Very nice rooms, incredibly close to the train station/shinkansen. The only problem we had at all was people fighting over the three laundry machines.

Always a pleasant stay at this chain hotel. Breakfasts tend to be variable giving the idea of franchise outlet in the eating area, more Japanese than Western.

Easy access to akita station, senshu park and many other attractive place. Room is very comfortable. Room facilities are perfect
