The museum isn't huge, but it gives a good overview of the history of the Tobu Railway Company. There are many interactive displays. Great for kids.
There's a small discount if you pay by Suica or Pasmo.

Amazing and interactive exhibit - especially for anyone who loves trains. The train simulations were a hit for everyone. Unbeatable experience for the cost ($200¥)

I'm not a local and happened to visit there on my spare time, and I love this place. What I like about it is that the presentation there is done very well. I love how they have the simulation for children to try so it inspired them to think about what they want to do in the future.

An excellent museum with lots of activities for children, some really good examples of trains. Has vending machines but no cafe, there are cafes for hot drinks in the local area.

Great value for money Y200. Lots of train simulators, retired carriages and model trains. Great for train fans and kids. There is also a ground level viewing platform that you can see the train at very close distance.

Everyone that's interested in trains or the history if Japanese transport should visit this museum. It's not huge but very interesting. The kids can play with model trains and it's very cheap.

If you like trains and don't speak/read Japanese, it's still a place where you won't regret spending 200yen. There's a great amount of details, and Google Translate does a good job on panels.
The museum is under a station a few minutes away from Asakusa. You can watch the Tobu trains from the viewing platform, run the simulations, walk into the old Nikko tram (especially great if you have been or are going to Nikko with Tobu)
Try to not miss the shows, every ~90min.

I have visited this museum numerous times with my children. It’s much larger than it looks and the diorama is amazing. Very reasonable price too.

A hidden gem. Great experience from the simulators and seeing the model trains move while operating it. Sufficient number of exhibits and simulators is well worth the 200 yen fee. The friendly staff did their best to make you enjoy all the exhibits.

Literally you won't get lost looking for this place cause as soon as you get off the train you can see directions to the Tobu museum. As soon as you get out it is there in plain sight! To get to Tobu museum you will have to walk down some stairs (it is underground), there wasn't any elevators when I visited.

Nice place for a quick side trip. Some good stuff to look at if you're a train buff. All in Japanese but still was rewarding.
