Don Quijote Sakae Honten

This is for real my favorite place in Nagoya, I’m not even joking 😭 As a Sanrio enjoyer, Don Quijote is a quick store to stock their latest releases, and it is a place I always go to to look around. I wouldn’t say that they have the most complete Sanrio collection (because they don’t), but I respect the speed.

The makeup section is also pretty packed up and complete with various Japanese, Korean, and Western brands. They have a pretty complete selection of Rom&nd, though I can’t comment on the price because I’ve never compared them. There are also sunscreen, soap & shampoo, pads, and other hygiene products.

Also, there is also a sex shop section on the third floor. On the fourth floor, they sell more touristy things such as souvenirs and postcards. The Sanrio section is also here!!! The medicine section too. Tax free cashier is also here. I’m sure that they also sell suitcases and bags!

Staff have good teamwork. I asked the Floor 2 cashiers for help finding something and they directed me to a staff wearing glasses who seemed to specifically help find stuff. Amazing memory of the shelves.

It’s a 4 stories discount store with anything from shoes to perfumes to sake , Louis Vuitton bags and champagne ... warning : it can get extremely crowded and every square inch is used for merchandise .. there is a tax refund booth at the ground floor that immediately gives cash back. Minimum spend of 5000 ¥ is required to Qualify for this.

Lots and lots of stuff more than you need but fun to have a look through.

Best Donki ever! Much better than the ones in Tokyo, same selection + more (if you’re looking for Ghibli stuff especially). Nice staff and best of all - not crowded, the ceilings are higher so you don’t feel smashed between all of the items and it’s just not packed but well distributed. Worth a visit.

This Don Quijote branch seemed to have a larger selection of goods than branches in Osaka. The staff were very helpful when I asked to try on a couple of items of clothing to see which size was best (Japanese clothing sizes are not the same as in other countries). The shop didn’t feel particularly busy either.

Oh! You'll love this place! From bra ded items found on the 5th floor ti food items on the 1st floor, there are so many selection of things to buy. There are numerous beauty products, toys clothes, food, shoes and a whole lot more! It will be a big regret if you go within thw area and not visit Don Quijote.

Big 24 hours store with many different items. Worth a visit.

Amazing place to browse, open 24 hrs just right for those who haven't gotten used to the time difference and looking for something to do late night. Reasonable prices on electronics, toys, and even clothing (if they fit ;)). Food, alcohol, brand name bags, something for everyone.

Get your credit card and passport ready. Foreign tourists may buy everything you want at relative cheap price here. Consumption over 5000 Yen then go to 3rd floor to check out, you will have their duty-free package service. Any commodities(including food and drink) you want to bring out of Japan, can be covered in duty-free.

A super- mall. Lot of local and foreigners. Chain-store at Japan. Lot of things for daily life. Eating, sports, electronics, various accessories, shoes, clothing..... everything.

Something cheap but not all. Good place to shop around for normal goods.

A very accessible place to buy all sorts of electronics, snacks and weird stuff in between. They also offer duty-free shopping for short-stay tourists.

You can easily spend hours in this great store, so much variety on all levels and yes there is a tax free counter .

Always my favour thing in Japan.
This location is actually amazing.
Not as crowded as Shinjuku.
Amzing price. Can last hours and get lost in here...
