Crowne Plaza - ANA Kumamoto New Sky, an IHG Hotel

from the checking in to the checking out, it was a pleasant experience through out. when I checked in I requested a room with a view and the front desk gave me beautiful room. I was very happy with the view. The staff was so friendly and professional. I ordered the massage service it was superb too. I wish I could stay longer, would defiantly would come back. Thank you your kindness and making my stay pleasant.

Rooms are a little older but good nonetheless. Service was fantastic. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Curry rice in breakfast buffet is delicious!

I'm a big fan of the Crowne Plaza chain having experienced great service and value pretty much in every case. This place is also very good in that regard.
I wish the buffet was more vegetarian friendly and there didn't appear to be a coin laundry on the premises. The lounge bar was very good this time.
Convenient location. Always happy to stay here.

Nice room. 2x complimentary water bottles. Breakfast was great. Location is outside of the main arcade areas, but no issue. 170 yen for a one-way, 10 min trolley ride to the middle of the city.

Stayed one night for sightseeing with my family. They seemed to be obsessed with giving good sleep experience to their customers: they provided free extra pillow choices including tempur pillows, aroma stones, extra bath robes by default, which is of course great for the guests.
The hotel staffs were incredibly kind and friendly. One thing I got sad was the lack of power outlets in the room. Only one in the room is apparently not enough for a family in 2020... Nevertheless we had a great time and I highly recommend this place.

Love it. It's down the street from my old apartment. So I love the area and the accommodations of the hotel. 3 amazing restaurants and bars. Loved the bed, shower's amazing, and quality of service amazing. Bags were delivered to my room with no gratuity expected, linen was fresh and clean every day. The view of the mountains and city were worth more than the price of the room.

Great cozy hotel, slightly different from other ANA hotels. Rooms are wide, clean and comfortable.
Staffs are friendly and the breakfast buffet has lots of dishes. Paid parking, bar, small shop and restaurant available. Complimentary mineral water,coffee and tea. There is no convenient store near the hotel and the location is bit far from the station.

Top notch service from front desk, shuttle driver, concierge, and housekeeping staff. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel offers shuttle service until 6pm which is inconvenient but the tram station is just across the street and the hotel is a 15 minute walk from Kumamoto station. There aren't any convenience stores or other restaurants nearby so make sure to stock up. However, the hotel's gift shop (7am-9pm) has drink options from juice to alcohol and its souvenir selction is sufficient.

Very comfortable bed and staffs are super friendly. There is a shuttle from the JR train station to the hotel. Also if you plan to take a long distance bus to the next town or to the airport, the bus stop is just 10 meters from the hotel front door. The tram station is about 6~8min walk from the hotel. And with that you can visit alot of places.

Good service and room is of a good size. Regular shuttle service to and fro Kumamoto station. Lacking of convenience store and eatery nearby.

Had a Lions Club meeting followed by dinner at the beer garden on the 25th floor. Beautiful views and surprisingly tasty buffet fare.

Rooms are cleaned but Aircon is not cold

The view of the room was really beautiful, and breakfast was pretty good as well. Bath was also good and nothing to complain.

when the weather is good you can go walking to the shopping streets and theres a shuttle to kumamoto station.
