Yaizu Grand Hotel

It was almost perfect, except the dinner buffet was not as good as I hope. Beautiful view and great service, I would stay again.

We have stayed at the Yaizu Grand Hotel a number of times and always enjoy it. It has always had a certain elegance without being "stuffy", and they have continually performed improvements and renovations. The food is very good, highlighting sushi, sashimi and local seafood, but also including other dishes. The onsen /hot bath comprises two "ocean view" rooms that include outdoor hit spring baths with views of Mt Fuji, plus a "forest view" bath. The baths rotate between being for men or women based on a set schedule, with the entrance clearly marked as being on the male or female schedule. Tattoos are not allowed, so if you cannot cover it with an adhesive bandage, you won't be able to enter. The hotel was friendly to children with a play area, an outside garden and an area with books, games, ping pong, etc. There is an outdoor swimming pool, but we usually visit in winter when the pool is closed. There are often activities available, so it is worth checking in before it gets too late. The location is great for fresh seafood and views, but is a little off the normal tourist route and requires a short shuttle or taxi ride from the local train station. The closest Shinkansen stop is Shizuoka Station, but only three stops by local train to Yaizu station, which is the closest to the hotel.

Though the hotel is located away from the city, but is way better in every respect. It is located at the shore of North Pacific Ocean, so the view is simply mesmerizing. The ambience of the hotel will be loved by those who are seeking peace and want to be close to nature as it is surrounded by mountains and a lot of greenery.
The staff is very cooperative and hotel buffet was delicious.

Great room with a unbelievable view. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing wanting. The staff is very friendly and they have events throughout the year. Nice hot springs as well. For a real treat, get the Japanese dinner course downstairs.

Best location because of the Mt. Fuji view, Suruga bay view and sunrise view. Best service. Best buffet in terms of food variety and quality. Best facility for family with small kids because there are play room and adventurous garden. Obviously No.1 hotel in central Shizuoka area.

One of the best onsen hotels I have ever experienced in Japan. What makes this onsen hotel unique is they do have a combination of both Japanese and western style (tatami and western room available) as well as banquet room. The hotel has nice layout with ocean view in rooms and breakfast restaurant. A Fuji mt lookout and 2 public onsen are available. Big souvenir shop at lobby. Will definitely revisit again.

Wonderful locations with view both to the sea and to the mountains. Great onsen and nice staff, very friendly. Awesome place for a weekend getaway.

オールインクルーシブが良かったです。 14時過ぎに着き、先に受付だけ済ませて、ラウンジで冷え冷えの美味しいビールを頂いてからパターゴルフを楽しみ、15時過ぎにお部屋に行きました。 2箇所あるラウンジで違う種類のビールが飲めたのは嬉しかったです(どちらも最高に美味しいです)。 富士ビューラウンジは、座り心地の良いソファーがあり、しっとりした大人の雰囲気の空間で、非日常感を味わえます。 遅い時間になると生ハムやチーズなどのおつまみも置いてあり、有難かったです。 大浴場も数箇所あるので飽きません。 脱衣場にバスタオルとフェイスタオルが用意されているので、部屋から持ち出さなくてもいいのは楽でした。 アメニティも悪くなかったです。 バイキングは、品数はそこまで多くはなかったものの、それぞれのレベルは高く、特にステーキとエビチリは絶品でした。 館内は広く、所々に本を読めるスペースやゲームが置いてあったりと思考を凝らしていましたが、広すぎて歩くのに少々疲れました。 ふんだんにスペースがあるので、無料のマッサージチェアを置いてはどうでしょう？ スタッフの皆さんもとても感じがよく、とても思い出に残る時間を過ごすことが出来ました。 また機会があれば利用させて頂きたいと思います。

2歳の子供と家族で泊まりました。夜のブュッフェが最高でした。新鮮な刺身や寿司を目の前で包丁でさばいて出してくれますが、とても美味しかったです。しかも、それぞれ6-7種類くらいのネタがあります。サーロインステーキも切って出してくれますが何回もおかわりしました。お酒も日本酒6種類くらい、白赤ワインも2種類ずつ、ビールやその他も飲み放題です。朝食ブュッフェももちろん大満足です。リピートしたい穴場のホテルです。

景色も良く海はもちろん山も綺麗に見えました。
スタッフさんもみなさんフレンドリー且つ丁寧で心地が良かったです。
お料理もドリンクも種類が豊富でどれも美味しかったです。
ラウンジでの生演奏も嬉しかったです。

客室も広くて綺麗でした。

忘れ物をしてしまったのですが自宅まで郵送してくださりました。
丁寧に梱包してありお手紙も添えられていました。電話での対応もとても優しくスピード感のある対応で感動しました。

お祝い事などでまた利用したいです。

こちらのホテル、既に3年前から3度訪問していますが何度来ても素晴らしい。
オールインクルーシブだから好きに遊んで飲食できる。
そして、その内容も充実しており、質も高い。
夕朝食バイキングがおすすめ。料理の豊富さ、質の高さ。このホテル以上にレベルの高いバイキングを私はまだ知りません。
食べ過ぎてお腹が爆発するかと思いました。
スタッフの方々の教育も行き届いており素晴らしい。夕食ディナーのシェフは愛想悪めですが、不快な思いをするレベルでもないのでok。
加えて、全体的に宿泊客のマナーも良く、快適に過ごせます。
コロナが明けて予約が取りにくくなっていますが、また来たいと思います。

家族の旅行で利用させて頂きました。

とても良かったです。部屋からの景色は海しか見えなかったですが、夜の真っ暗い海を満喫出来ました。
朝食はビュッフェスタイルで富士山の見える席で優雅に堪能出来ました。
ホテルには色々なアクティビティがありましたが、到着が遅かった為行けませんでした( ´･ω･` )今度行った時は楽しみたいと思います。

建物は少し古めです。

オールインクルーシブでホテル丸ごと楽しめるところ。前回気に入って今回もきました。ボードゲームやカードゲームで家族で楽しんだり、お風呂も2箇所、足湯やお庭のカフェやテニスコートなど時間いっぱいいても周りきれないくらいでした。お食事も美味しかったです。サービスも満点でした。

2023.6以来２回目の訪問、2泊しましたが、今回も大満足でした。しいて言えば、朝、夜のバイキングのメニューが多少違いがあればさらに良かったかなと。前回の時は、朝食で手作りおにぎりがあったのですが、今回はありませんでした。
