天皇陛下が、献花台に白菊の花を添え慰霊される所です。沖縄戦犠牲者の納骨数18万余柱が祀られている巨大な国立の御墓です。沖縄県営の平和祈念公園に戦没者追悼の参拝でお越しの方は、こちらで手を合わせて、英霊の声なき声を心に感じて下さい。（お足の悪い方には、園内周遊バスが便利です。）

この手前に花を購入できる所があり、献花をしました。裏側から見える景色が綺麗です。
