The park give the fairytale vibe, it is really good for spending time with kids or family. There is mushroom house and small library. Picnic area are available, but not so big.
There’s also a coffee shop and ice cream stand inside the park. The entrance fee is free with a huge parking lot.

It’s close on Monday.

It’s beautiful Moomin themed park and is free to enter. I love the mini furnitures and figurines scattered around the place. There are many families with children in the weekend and lots of activities for kids. It’s a good place to relax even if you’re an adult.

We have visited this park several times and my young child loved it. Please adjust your expectations: the park is quite small! Having said that, it’s very picturesque and if you like photography then you’ll love it.

If you go into all the buildings and stop in at the cafe then you can really make a morning or afternoon out of it!

Check out the illuminations, and firefly viewings and special events on the park website.

The cafe is yummy and totally worthwhile, but on weekends and public holidays you’ll need to get a seat by 11am, otherwise you’ll need to queue up.

There is free parking and the park is free!

If you need to walk from the station, you should be able to walk on an asphalt pathway along the river for most of the way, which is a bit more enjoyable than walking next to the road (although walking along the roadside is fine too).

There is also a hiking course that leaves from behind the library building.

Small but fun little nature park. Whimsical Moomin theme. Water features are relaxing. Nice to walk through small woodsy area from the sun/heat. Free parking.

A free entry park that is based on the Finnish cartoon, Moomin.
It has a replication of Moomin's house that you can actually enter. Kids loved it and played inside the house for close to an hour. There are also other areas with replica of the places in the comics, and a small museum showing the history of Moomin.

Tourist attraction, play area and park. You can play in the quirky houses pictured or the tree house or roam the woods. There's a library and event space too. Free park but soon to become part of a larger Moomin theme park.

Tove Jansson was an artist from Helsinki. She's most famous with Moomin cartoon. This park has many unique and interesting architecture that is inspired from her story. Hanno City manages this place for over 20 years now. It is very well maintain. Free entrance. It was worth the visit!
