Nice, cosy restaurant serves tasty food. Ordered the lamb bowl and recommended a smoked beef cheek.. both very delicious.

Lunch:
- beef curry rice
- chicken and vegetable soup curry
- ordered the curry extra spicy as it was a cold and rainy day. Was great, just nice for south East Asian tastebuds.
- coffee is average
- craft beer is available here as well
- very cosy vibe!

Actively talking about going back here again for dinner tonight. The restaurant is cozy with excellent music and wood heating. The food is all comfort food. Delicious, warm, large portions with cold beer.

We came here in the autumn and I had the baked cheese curry. Staff were Attentive and friendly. speed of service was good, food tasted great! The cafe/restaurant also has a great chill ambience.

Prime ski village vibes, delicious food quickly served, locally brewed beer, and a welcoming environment for Westerners and all tourists. I highly recommend this restaurant after a day of skiing or onsen hopping. It offers a delightful reprieve from the cold, or heat, and offers warm drinks in the winter and cool ones in the summer. Accomodating staff make this a pleasing cozy dining experience

Excellent cafe food at decent prices. I would give this establishment 5 stars for the ambience, and another 5 stars for food and service. Very attentive staff, delicious food. Best place to chill and read a book on a rest day if you are not skiing or snowboarding. Having tried the other cafes, this one wins them all in terms of ambience.

Fantastic place to kick back next to the fire after a day on snow or just relax with some coffee and cake. Large range of bottled beers and local handcrafts on offer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Book in advance if you are a large group as it's often busy. The beef stew on rice hot pot is sensational... and I recommend the Yamagata beef skewers as well.

Cool place with good food and coffee. Nice fireplace to keep yourself warm after being out in the snow!

Perfect spot for a coffee or a beer, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I didn't try a meal, but I tried the homemade cheesecake : delicious !

Amazing place. Butter chicken curry was too good. The strawberry milkshake was amazing too. The Chef even took a special request for something f that wasn’t in the menu. The onsen is just walking distance away Making it a perfect place to have dinner before jumping into onsen.

Our daughter loved the gateau chocolat and strawberry lemonade…. We liked the Uganda coffee. ( lattes were not very hot)… The two wood and pellet heaters were perfect for a relaxing coffee break!

Excellent hippie-esquire atmosphere, wooden fire stoves, and local craft beer. I had the “Father’s curry” with cream korokke. Very filling, good side pickles, a good spot to fill up after a snowy day.
