Cafe Makabechina

Traditional Okinawan restaurant tucked away in the countryside. We arrived at 2:30pm and it was definitely off peak (we didn’t queue at all even without reservation). The menu was in Japanese but pictures helped us a lot and the waitress was also really patient with our lack of Japanese skills.
The set meals are really good, Okinawan soba with various sides and rice. You can get water and plain tea for free from the self-service area, but they have some more special teas and drink options à la carte.
Really clean toilets and the courtesy shoes provided are actually geta, traditional Japanese sandals.
It is also possible to purchase local tea (including the ones served à la carte), jewellery and pottery from inside the restaurant.
The restaurant also has a lovely garden and outdoor dining area open in season.
Parking lot available outside.

A relaxing and perfect place to have lunch.

The building is historical and you can also see bullet marks from the war era. The ambience inside is very nice and feels very cozy.

The food is very good and I would recommend getting the set as the side dishes are really nice.

The place is VERY crowded (maybe because it is small or popular with tourists), there was already a line at around 11:30 even on weekdays.

Great atmosphere..VERY cozy..historic building within the history of the 19th century ryukus, and most of all the best soba I've had so far on island! What more could you ask!!! This place is a must eat for any travelers. We visited after spending a morning learning about the history of the battle of Okinawa at the peace memorial just south, then to sit down and find out this very building was still standing after all the unfortunate destruction during the fighting. So cool!

This place is incredible! Take the time to detour from your plans and visit this place for a meal. Extremely delicious; traditionally prepared and exceptionally affordable. We sampled several of the set menus and everything was just perfect!

This place is very special. The quiet alleyways of the neighborhood, the ambiance of the traditional house, the cool and serene garden, and the delicious, honest, and healthy food with lots of different tofus and vegetables to sample. By far the best meal of our trip, we are already planning to come back!

沖縄旅行最初の日に糸満までドライブに行きました。
せっかくなので沖縄料理が食べたいと思い、Google mapでヒットしたこちらのお店でソーキそばを頂きました。
お店の雰囲気が暖かくてとても居心地の良く、ソーキそばも弾力があって出汁も効いていて本当に美味しかったです！彼が食べていたプルプルの豚肉のソーキそばも美味しかった。。。
お店の柱などに弾丸が残っていたり、お店に訪れた方のノートを見てとても感動しました。
また沖縄に行ったらまた行きます！

好喜歡這樣沖繩百年的老房子，艷陽下的鮮橘色磚瓦還有石獅，在搭上藍天白雲，就是好看的明信片。我們是當天第一組客人，非常開心(10:45抵達)，脫掉鞋子走進屋裡，踏上涼爽的木地板，整個沁涼感覺，真想讓人打盹放空一整個下午。豬軟骨麵真是比我預期意外的好吃，豬軟骨好軟嫩，沖繩麵Q彈有勁，湯頭清香，再加上泡盛真的相當完美💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

沖縄の古民家で食べられる家庭料理です。
ゆし豆腐そばは、とても優しい味の出汁の効いた美味しい沖繩そばでした。
地方により麺が違うようで、こちらは縮れた丸麺のようでした。
スーチカー御膳は沖繩家庭料理の２番手と言っても過言ではないですね。
やっぱり１位はラフテーだと思いますが、あいにく売り切れでした。
それでも、沖縄料理を満喫する事ができました。
全てが美味しく満足の行く料理でした。
昔の戦争の時の物でしょうか?、弾丸根が数カ所見られました。
痛々しい物ですね。

旅行者。12月平日に利用。場所はGoogle mapが連れて行ってくれるので迷わない。駐車場は店の前に10台位と第二もあり広い。美しい古民家で、入る時につい「お邪魔します」と言ってしまう。
店内はテーブル席と座敷席。12時半頃で8割位の入り。あちこちの柱にある傷は戦時中の銃弾の跡とのこと。ひめゆりの塔は車で5分の場所にある。
そばの種類は多い。量は大、中、小から選ぶ。小鉢ご飯セットは＋700円で、ジューシーや人参シリシリなどが付く。そばの小にセットを付けるのがちょうど良いと思う。味はみな優しい。薄いのでは無く、奥深い味で美味しい。
店員さんの接客も良く、とても居心地の良い店だ。

空港あたりの中心部からはかなり離れるので、車でないとこれないけど、わざわざくる価値がある。
13:30くらいに着いたけど、30分くらい待った
フーチャンプル御膳は売り切れてたので、豚の塩漬け御膳をチョイス
全ての小鉢がついて1700円なのでとてもリーズナブル
炊き込みご飯、沖縄そばなど、どれも出汁がかなり効いててとても美味しい。
全席テーブル席で、ぼっちではきついのでグループ向き。おばあちゃんの家のような雰囲気もあり、とても居心地が良い
戦争の激戦地だったこともあり、銃弾痕が柱にあったりもする

那覇空港からタクシーで30分ちょいです。今回、3箇所で沖縄そばを食べましたが、一番美味しかったです。古民家で外観も素敵で、店内も琉球畳で快適に食事ができました。本島南部観光する際はマストな食事処だと思います！また行きたい！

土曜日の14時頃に訪問しました。ピーク時間ではなかったので、待たずに入店できましたが、一部メニュー(ラフテー御膳と何か)は売切れでした。子連れですが、幼児用の椅子があったり、子供用の食器が用意されていて安心でした。食事はとっても美味しく頂きましたが、古民家の雰囲気も良く、快適に過ごせました。
店の前の道路が狭いので、少し注意が必要ですが、駐車場は第2駐車場まで用意されていて十分な広さでした。糸満方面に行った際には再訪したいと思います。

駐車場は2つあります。店内は古民家が利用された作りになっており懐かしい雰囲気が感じられ、靴を脱いで店内に入ります。麩ちゃんぷるー定食(1,180円)を注文しました。そばの麺は食感が良く、スープは鰹出汁が効いた薄味で、麩ちゃんぷるーは野菜と麩のうま味が感じられる薄味でジューシーはバジルが少し入っていてイタリアンな味わいで美味しかったです。店員さんの対応は良かったです。人気店なので駐車場がすぐに満車になるので、開店約15分前には駐車場には着いた方が良いと思います。

12：00過ぎに行きましたが、オープンを目指して行った方が良いかも知れません。
私でギリギリ入店出来ましたが、次から次へとお客さんが来ていました。
駐車場は2ヶ所ありますが、広くはないので、早めに訪れた方が良いと思います。

店内は、靴を脱いで上がるタイプで、スロープなどはなく車椅子は中には入れません。

ソーキそばのソーキが最高に柔らかく口に入れた瞬間からとろける感じで、凄く美味しかったです。

建物の雰囲気と琉球料理とで、沖縄に来ているなぁって改めて実感出来る素敵なお店でした。

2回目。美味しすぎてスープまで飲み干せました。また、小鉢料理どれも美味しかったです！
