Cocoon City

Huge brand-new shopping mall! Made it easy to browse, buy, eat and see things unique to Japan and yet familiar to someone from the U.S. - we particularly enjoyed stopping at the food court for dinner, eating a crepe for dessert and then enjoying a traditional hard candy art demonstration further inside of the mall complex. The pictures from this area are also very desirable. If you are in Omiya or the surrounding area and need a place to recharge, I highly recommend checking Cocoon City out.

Such a big shopping mall! There are 3 different main stores all being super good! Building 2 has to be my favorite since it's so big and there are many shops to go to! It's also very close to the station like very close! Worth stopping by for a hour or 2

Very big shopping mall in saitama shintoshin. It’s 3 minutes walking distance from Saitama shintoshin station. Large parking available but parking aren’t free. Lots of branded shop available.

Cocon city is a great place do shopping, enjoy outside garden and hanging out with family and friends.

Great place for shopping, but the restaurants, cafés and food hall are always full of people and it's almost impossible to get a table anywhere.

Good and quality items, fairly priced

The best thing about this mall is that it's next to the station (Saitama Shintoshin) that serves the Shonan-Shinjuku, Utsunomiya, Tokyo-Ueno and Keihin Tohoku lines.

Im sure i would frequent these huge malls. Everything is basically here, restaurants, cafes, retail shops, movie house, etc. Probably one would need a whole day to explore all three massive malls, from Cocoon 1 to 3. Definitely a great hang out place with friends and loved ones.

Great ambience with amazing illumination during Christmas and New Year. The wide variety of restaurants and classy garment stores make it a haven for shoppers. The best thing about this place is that the movie theatre provides concessions for students making it a happening place to hangout. The bicycle parking is very safe and systematic.

Lots of different shops. Seems everything you could want is available here.

As a vegan I wish there were better food options, but currently there are some options here. Japanese menus change rapidly though it seems so that may not be true in the future.

Massive new shipping mall, loads of shops, very clean and organised. The only issue, if anything, there are alot of people enjoying the mall.

A great, complete place to shop, eat or take in a movie with family, friends or by yourself! Many shop and eatery choices for the entire family, including a huge three level electronics store, Yodabashi Camera and play center Buornlund! Free wifi, phone charging kiosks inside Yodabashi. The nearest station is JR Saitama Shintoshin Station.

Wonderful shopping center lived in central Saitama. You can find anything and everything here. Along with being able to see many free events, such as Christmas lights.

Nice place for having fun and hanging out. The best part is the Movix hall. You can watch movies with English audio. Must visit.

With three different buildings, it's fun to move from one to the other with different types of shops, movie, restaurants and bars.

At Cocoon city you can find a yodobashi, mall with cafeteria, movie theater, grocery store, restaurants and more! Location is a short walk from the train station.
