Central Park

Nagoya's Central Park is a green oasis amidst the urban hustle and bustle, offering respite and relaxation for locals and visitors alike. This used to be a regular park with some nice scenic walking but now it’s the exciting hotspot of Nagoya with high-end shops and restaurants. There’s still plenty of space to play and even some kid friendly places towards the north part of the park. Central Park is now very popular with people who want to get a great photograph of the Nagoya TV tower in the background.

This is a great place to hang out in Nagoya if you are into greenery, people watching, and parks. I got here for the Italian Festival near the Nagoya Tower. So yeah there are festivals from time to time so do watch out for that.

Overall, a great place to just chill. There will also be some food stalls so a great opportunity to sample local cuisine. Plus, you'll be near the Nagoya Tower, which is very photogenic in my opinion. It can be too hot in the summer though so my advice is to visit this area at night, which is what I did.

Awesome underground shopping mall below the Hisaya odori park in Nagoya. Lots of shops, supermarket, eateries, coffee shops, electeonics, wellness, et. Ate at a local restaurant that served good kaarage and tempura at a good price!

So beautiful place, with many options for shopping, food, transportation and entertainment. At night there are always street musicians cheering the place up👏👏👏

Central Park is a great place for travellers. They provided clear directions and a number of choices for food and shops.

Very awesome park: you got a very beautiful and quiet park in the middle of a busy city centre. Good for a rest and hanging around.

Very neat neighborhood in Sakae... lots of shops and live entertainment at the bus station.

Cool place to go in summer.. quite windy on winter so don't forget to wear warm clothes while going on top
