食堂黒猫 Black Cat Cafe

Took my Wife to Okinawa Black Cat Cafe and ordered the salmon sandwich and chicken wrap. We split half and half shared Grilled vegetables were seasoned well and tastes were phonomenal. Falafal was out of this world tasty wish I had 10 more of them. Espresso and tonic was a bit mild and smooth. Long coffee had a caramel taste to it. Great view of ocean and shuri. Atmosphere was good. Vintage school desks tables were nostalgic. Recommend

First of all, it was reallllly hard to find this place even though I was using Google Maps. But it was totally worth a visit. Two owners are working harmoniously as a chef and a barista. They are very knowledgeable about coffee and and their pastas. They select their own beans from all over the world and roast them at the cafe. Me and my wife enjoyed just being here and loved the coffees we've ordered. The most highly recommended place in Okinawa for sure.

You NEED to visit this cafe. It’s owned and operated by the couple who greets you, seats you, and feeds you! It's a little hard to find but keep an eye out for the painted black cat and use of Google Maps! Parking is all street and parallel, so you have been warned. But the food! So, so delicious...! It instantly became one of our most favorite cafes on all of Okinawa, and THAT'S saying something. You can't go wrong coming back again and again to try the entire menu.

This place is what I love to find when I travel international. A hidden gem tucked away from the "touristy" areas. Pancakes were absolutely amazing and the coffee was great too. The owner personally described my order to how the pancakes are made. Everything is made in house. If you are in Okinawa I highly recommend.

Excellent food. We ordered the lamb dish, beautifully presented pancakes and chinese pork buns with Asian salad. All of our dishes were artfully presented and the taste exceeded our expectations. Each bite was interesting and an explosion of complex flavors. We finished with an excellent tiramisu and latte. I am a hot tea drinker, so the addition of a tea to the menu would be lovely. Speaking of drinks, my children loved the freshly squeezed watermelon juice. Additionally, the owner takes the time to explain the ingredients and cooking process for each dish... such a treat! Black Cat Cafe has quickly become a favorite, and we are already planning our return!

Excellent!! When you take your kids to place like this and they enjoy the food and don’t complain you know it’s good.

Fantastic food that they really put a lot of hard work into. The menu is small and a bit pricey, but very high quality, and has a very good presentation.

The food is something you would expect at a 5 star restaurant with reservations only. but it is just a small cafe. Not very busy at all. The food is all made in house from scratch. The server knew everything about all the food.

The food is so wholesome and scrumptious it will make you jump out of the window. Don't even get me started on coffee and desserts -- simply wonderful!

Good food and great coffee. A little bit on the pricey side but the coffee was amazing. Owner speaks English. Nice little spot.

閑静な住宅街の坂道を登ると素敵な空間が待ってます。靴を脱いでスリッパで入店する家庭的な雰囲気とは裏腹に料理はいわゆるメルボルンスタイルの超本格的です。丁寧にドリップされた水出しアイスコーヒーと、じっくり低音調理された牛肩ロースをパイで包んだドリーミーパイは絶品で、まさに夢心地の感覚を味わう事が出来ました。

Chefs special-Magret de canard

フォアグラを取る為に育てられた「マグレ・ド・カナール」と言う品種の、上質な胸肉を使っています。丁寧にグリルした合鴨には味噌メープルオレンジソースと、ドライイチジク・クランベリーやデイツで作ったソースをご用意。付け合わせにはローストミニポテトのハーブソース添え、ホワイトアスパラガスやペコロスのサラダを合わせ、ラビゴットソースにウズラ卵のポーチドエッグ乗せたもので召し上がって頂きます。お店でわざわざ食べたくなるそんな上質なお肉を贅沢な食材達で黒猫らしさとは別にシェフ自身が表現したい形を、純粋に一皿に致しました。

駐車して2Fへ上がる、靴脱ぎます。おー！広いです。
ランチ¥1500。高い！と思ったがこの料理なら納得しました。全てが丁寧な仕事されてます。
