first time diving for my sister and I, we found the experience surpassed our expectations. the guides were patient and took us to see various spots under water, including an abandoned tank. Would recommend, especially for first timers!

Spending a night in Aqaba at the Red Sea, I discovered that the South Beach was the highest-rated on Tripadvisor. Upon arrival, I sought out a diving school and ended up at Dana Village and the Mermaid Dive Center.

I truly believe that God led us here. It was the best afternoon of the week for my husband and the children. The diving course was both professional and familiar. They offered us a fantastic deal for beginners, including equipment and two full courses.

We decided to stay there overnight to take another diving course the next day. The staff were polite, friendly, attentive, and professional. It was the first time for my husband, my 17-year-old daughter, and my 13-year-old son, and they returned with radiant faces – they couldn't stop talking about the fantastic experiences underwater! It was also fantastic that the diving school captures underwater photos and videos to immortalize everything. We hope to return soon and wholeheartedly recommend the diving school at 100%.

Additionally, since we didn't have enough Jordanian dinars, we politely asked if we could pay with euros. This family was extremely fair and honest in the currency exchange.

Awesome dive centre. The owner, Mahadi, was very welcoming and helpful. The instructors, Karam and Ahmed, were incredibly good and professional. Extremely experienced and diligent, and made everyone feel safe.
And they were fun too - they really made sure each diver got what they were looking for from their dive.

Mermaid Dive Center in Aqaba surpassed my expectations. The equipment was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the instructor was truly amazing. A fantastic diving experience overall!

OH MYGOODNESS ! One of the best experiences of my life! Firstly the staff are amazing Sharky and Max took care of us. With all of our fears they reassured us through out the whole diving process . They made sure we were safe at all times aswell as being playful and fun. Max took me around whilst Sharky took my friends . Max went out of his way to show me some amazing fish . One of the best experiences for such a decent price . They took care of us after the journey aswell . 100/10 experience highly recommend if you are coming to Jordan . Fabulous time with experienced and helpful guides. They will take care of your equipment rental and transportation from the shop at a very reasonable rate, and take you to the most beautiful reefs!

We had a really nice instructor who guided us through our first dive and calmly explained what to do under water. Diving place just in front of the diving center with beautiful coral and fish!

Amazing experience! We performed 4 dives with them: War Tank, Japanese Garden, Cedar Price and the Airplane, and all really good. The guide was so kind and much helpful! Totally recommend it!

I enjoyed my diving experience with Mermaid Dive Center. Staff members are warm hearted; amicable and outstanding. As a first time diver I felt safe during my whole experience. Definitely worth booking if you want to have a view of the majestic Red Sea. They offer a bunch of activities on their website. Easy to find (with parking) and practically located on the beach. We went for two dives today with Dive Master Karam. He was exceptional, providing first-class training before and during the dive, ensuring that everyone was safe and having fun, and showing us many sights that we would otherwise have never seen. Both dives were amazing and, if we had time, we wouldn’t hesitate to do more. Thank you Mermaid Dive Centre and particularly Karam for giving us a wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone.

Amazing experience today with dive Master Karam. He took us for an introductory dive in the morning and a slightly deeper dive in the afternoon. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Despite being nervous on the second dive, Karam was amazing at getting me slowly back down with him and enjoy the rest of the dive. Recommend 100%! Can't wait to come back one day!

Called on when passing on the off chance we could borrow some snorkelling gear. Couldn’t be more helpful, within 10 mins we had the gear and we’re in the water. Also let us use the facilities- shower, poolside beds etc to relax afterwards. Will be back to try their diving courses!

Such an excellent days diving, felt really welcomed and safe with Karam. I’ve not dived in over a year but had an awesome time and went out with a really experienced instructor. Amazing location! 😄

We had a great dive with Mohamed today. We first did one dive and we could decide after that if we wanted to go for a second one. All very relaxed and good vibes! 👌
