Oryx Hotel Aqaba

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and really enjoyed it here. Everyone was very nice and kind. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. They had a jacuzzi, pool, family pool, sauna, and gym, so lots to do. There were even birds that our young son could visit. It is right across from the Fountain mall, so it was very convenient. It was also very close to Ayla, a high-end shopping village and marina. Would definitely come back!

The staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel is at a very nice location, and they also provide a free shuttle service for the guests. The food is varied. The rooms were spacious, but the furniture was a bit old and worn out.

I had the most wonderful experience at Oryx hotel! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. The service was top-notch, and the room and facilities were impeccably clean. Rashad at the desk was extremely helpful; above and beyond our expectations. Lovely hotel, really enjoyed the pool and was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't at all crowded. Room staff very friendly. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. It would be nice if coffee and water were free with supper.

Rooms had every amenity needed, constant hot water and decent location. It was a 20 minute trek into the rest of Aqaba so if you like walking it's great. That shouldn't discourage others as taxis are everywhere and aggressively try to gain your business.

When going for breakfast and dinner I was most disappointed that not all place settings were made equal. Sometimes I would have to take a coffee cup from another table because I didn't have one or they would not replace the forks and knives at a table when someone go up. I asked for a coke before I sat down and it didn't come until I finished my meal.

I had an amazing stay and what an amazing service by Ahmad Tantash which literally helped us soooo much with which room would be more suitable for us, and he showed us around fully to not be confused where to go and where are we.
The rooms were very clean and the view was substantial and i would like to thank the house keeping as well for being soooo helpful with our room and how consistently clean it is.

Not the best hotel in Aqaba, but relatively good location. There is shuttle bus to the city centre.
Good food. Two bars offer alcoholic beverages. Massage spa. Swimming pool.
But, it is friendliness of the staff that made for a great stay.

A very good hotel, almost perfect I would say.
The rooms were very nice, with large bed and toilet, an open terrace towards the sea.
The location is very good, 15min of walking until the first public beach, 20min until the city center.

The problems or points to improve are:
- The TV remite control was without any AAA batteries and, when I succed to open it from the buttons, we catched only some local analog chanels, nothing interesting.
- The cooling fan was working continuously in bathroom, with a noise that was bothering us

I had a pleasant stay over a weekend. We were upgraded to a better room with some special package. A special thanks to Miss Raghad, Miss Batool and Mr Hamzeh.

Just amazing hotel, staff, cleanness fantastic. Hotel restaurant staff, chefs, manager Azmir and Ghena staff amazing .
The bar is good. The staff Abilash and Sanat looked after us. Made sure we had drinks on the table with snacks. Table were always cleaned. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 😊

Aqaba is beautiful and the people are even better! The Oryx Hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Hamza and Ahmoud were extremely helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

This food is the best i've had, they also ask you if you need anything at anytime i wish all hotels can be like oryx hotel

We had an amazing stay and were well looked after. Great location with access to downtown, Ayala and Beach House for the beach.
Nice to have the free shuttle.

What a wonderful place to enjoy our stay in Aqaba. First time here, but will be our preferred accommodation going forward.

Had a nice stay at this hotel, the reception team staff are very professional and helpful, they have a pedicure and manicure area and the lady there is very nice and their prices are reasonable, the breakfast buffet was everything, all in all it was a nice experience and definitely would go there again
