Russian Pilgrim Residence

This was one of the most fulfilling experiences that I have ever had. The hotel is absolutely amazing, with incredible rooms. It is a very short walk to John the Baptist’s Spring & the River Jordan itself is right across the hotel. You will receive the best hospitality imaginable. A truly holy experience that should not be missed out on by any Christian!

We stayed here a few nights a year ago. Unforgotable experience. The hotel has access to the Jordan River. I used a chance to bath in the Holy River a few times. We also attended Orthodox Christmas Service at the amazing church above the hotel.

Amazing experience staying at this orthodox monastery right on the Jordan river. 300 meters from where Jesus was baptized. Clean modern rooms. Well stocked gift shop. Beautiful chapel. Very friendly nuns and monks. We woke up and went right down to the river for a truly moving experience. As with any monestary we visited lots of friendly cats.

This place is fantastic I love to come here and stay.

You have good opportunity to relax and leave you phone back :) get a detoxification from all the in pulse in our lives.

Great place to stay for pilgrims. Beautiful church, icons, staff and a nice small store that has icons, ropes, crosses and jewelry.

I was here on the 7th November 2018 and it was absolutely wonderful, beautiful place, may God Bless everyone there and everyone who visits the Holy place!

Тихо, спокойно, в здании прохладно. Приятно провести время даже не относящимся к православном народу. Тут же спуск к реке Иордан, куда можно даже погрузиться. Главное, нет толпы туристов, как возле храмов достопримечательностей по соседству.

Di passaggio durante la visita alle rive del Giordano luogo del battesimo di Gesù siamo passati per questo Santuario Russo. Molto bello offre la possibilità di soggiorno e di rinfrescarsi nelle acque del Giordano.

Если вы приехали отдыхать в Иорданию, обязательно посетите это святое место. Будьте готовы к тому,что проходить крещение в реке Иордан нужно в кристильной рубашке стоит она 25$.
Есть раздевалки прям у спуска. Спуск оборудован лесенкой которая спускается до самой земли. Вода в реке мутная, пусть вас это не пугает))
Река с сильным течением, не глубокая. Вода ну очень ледяная. Гипертоникам быть аккуратнее ,т к у здорового человека в момент очищения сосуды от такой леденющей воды сузились,что говорить о тех,кто подвержен скачкам давления. Если хотите можете зайти в местный храм, оставить записочки на молебен и купить свечи. 3 свечи стоят 5$. Природа и виды когда вы проходите сквозь храм просто шикарные, одно но, ветра на высоте. Берите с собой сменную сухую одежду!
