Darna Divers Village Beach Hotel & Dive Center

We didn't stay at the hotel but we dived with them a couple of times. Thanks specially to Ahmed who was a nice and an aware instructor. We felt very comfortable and safe with him.

In our trip in Jordan we stayed 3 days to this hotel, and we had a Wonderful experience. We were a group with Children and also elder people. The location is ideal, just in front of a nice beach. The hotel is clean, rooms are not luxury but this is not what you expect diving village. The breakfast is great and also the restaurant offers quality and tasty food. The swimming pool is nice and there is lot of places where to relax with sea view. Staff is very helpful and nice. They have of course a diving center where we had 2 dives (we are open water certified) and were great. Our children did also their first two dives and had real fun. The instructors were great also with the children. Overall a nice experience. We'll be happy to stop there again next time. Book in advance!

We had a good overall experience. The staff is very helpful and you can always go to them for help. Location is great although it is a bit far from Aqaba itself. Lastly the rooms were good but some stuff was broken/outdated (probably due to high usage). Still, great experience.

Good choice for a diving holiday
We have chosen Darna because dive sites are all close to the beach and thus it is more convenient from a hotel close to the beach and the dive sites. We were right, that was the best choice. We got everywhere in a few minutes drive
Darna might miss some of the luxury room and hotel amenities but the staff, the dinner and the dive center make up for it with no doubt!

We went diving 5 people with no experience and the unstructured were very tentative to every one’s needs.

My friends and I have really enjoyed our stay in the Darna Divers Village. We felt at home there thanks to the lovely staff. Furthermore, the rooms were clean and everything that you needed was there. There was a relaxed atmosphere thanks to the cozy sitting places next to the pool. The place is 15 minutes away from Akaba city. It is perfect if you like to enjoy the peace of the sea. I would definitely recommend this place!

Very good atmosphere. So friendly owners, the stuff. We spent 1 night and had a very good experience we rented suits and snorkls and saw the amazing life under the water we also were lucky to see a big turtle. The place is “Goodprice” as the locals says all the time, and you feel the freedom there. Special sunset and nights. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience at Darna. The owner and his staff were super friendly and flexible, they upgraded our rooms to sea view rooms, we were allowed to use a room for showering even after check out, and we received great advices for snorkeling. Breakfast was good, typical for Jordan with humus, beans, cheese, eggs, veggies and fruits. All in all you'll find a relaxed, easy-going, lovely atmosphere at Darna.

A perfect ending of our Jordsn trip. Clean rooms, good tea, nice views. The beach is close by - as the coral reef. Managers are friendly and supportive. Thank you!!!

I have a lot of fun reading totaly different opinions about the same place. I found it friendly and welcoming place. Rooms are not too awsome, but if you expect Hilton quality, there are some places in Aqaba for you. What makes this place unique are the owners. Always there, ready to help. If the toilet gets clogged it takes 20 minutes to fix it. The area around pool are great - you can rest, sunbath, relax in airconditioned lobby or windy veranda outside. The beach is only few steps away and reef starts right in front of the hotel. It's very friendly family place, just don't be a jerk and everything will go smoothly. We didn't dive but I saw the equipment - it's decent. Way better than in few places I've seen in Jordan.
It was our first place we stayed in Jordan so it kind of set the standards to compare - having spent 10 extra nights in other different places Darna is the one I would definietly come back.

We have been two days diving at such a wonderful sea, and having a great experience with all the staff (the three brothers and the diving guide (he cared of me all the time and was very good guide).

Great place to stay on holidays!! We will come back with our family!

Stayed two nights on a family trip through Jordan. Basic but comfortable rooms with friendly staff and good food. Great for first time diving experience.

The Darna brothers and the owner, the father are the kindest people who we met in Aquaba. They were always helpful and very easy going. The place is family friendly, has delicious food, is clean and has everything you possibly need for the perfect and confortable holiday. The place is also a diving center, all the instructors are funny, easy going and very professional. We dived here for the very first time and they handeld it perfectly. We dived like pros after the best possible teaching without any fear. Underwater they were very attentive and made sure we were safe all the time. They also showed us every interesting thing underwater and tried to give us the best experience underwater. Over all the best place you can stay in Aquaba Jordan.

Super kind staff, great service, very convenient locstion át the Red Sea, closeby, I love the rooms, airconditioning and fridge alsó ín the rooms. I swam át the pool As well🌟💙 the Sea is clear, nice Warm, very pleasant.

These guys are very kind We had a diving experience and it was so amazing the reception was very good the people are amazing and friendly, if you want a good experience i recommend to come here also the diving is local and close to the hotel, theres lots of fish and even sharks! The fish will be your best friends.

Stayed for 4 nights. Good location with long public beach. Pool was clean and did not smell with chlorine. Breakfast were average. Did not eat there for lunch/dinner. Can’t judge food.

We had a wonderful stay at Darna! I wouldn’t go anywhere else next time I visit Aqaba. The beachy and chill vibes, the friendly staff and the view directly on the Red Sea gave us an absolut holiday feeling. Snorkelling and diving equipment were also easy to get from Darna and the corals and fish are exactly in front of the hotel which was just amazing. Thank you again for making our time in Aqaba so special!

We had an amazing dive stay at Darna Divers Village! We booked a 2 nights 4 dive package and it was really worth the money. Check out the packages if you are into diving, they are pretty cheap/fair.

The hotel is a nice place next to the beach. We had a room with some kind of sea view (there is a road between the rooms and the beach but you can clearly see the sea). The hotel also has nice small and clean pool area.

The food was also good. The dive package included brackfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was in buffet form. For lunch and dinner we could order whatever we want from the menu, what was really cool. It felt like an all inclusive holiday since they also invited us for the drinks we had :-).

The dives were the best of all. Both dive masters we had (Abdul and Shark) were were friendly and profesional. We asked them before if we could do some wreck diving and they made everything possible for us - even a spontaneous boat dive to the tristar wreck which i highly recommend!

The hotel staff as well as the dive masters were super welcoming and friendly. We never had Aqaba on our list for diving but we found out that it is a truely hidden gem - no metter if you are up to wreck diving or some amazing corals.

Good price and value for money. If you want to dive you will also pay a fair price. Nice service and good atmosphere. Rooms are in average standard, but they are enough to chill out (good air conditioning). I have very good diving instructor, who showed me a lot underwater. Only thing what could better was prices of the lunches.
