Passage To India

This is an Indian restaurant well located along the waterfront of the Ocho Rios pier which is a prime tourist destination. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and a pleasant laid back vibe. The menu contains traditional Indian dishes including a large selection of vegetarian items. I had a vegetarian korma and aloo gobi. I also ordered a raita to complement my spicy meal. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The service staff was courteous and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Indian/South Asian cuisine.

Amazing food and surprisingly very Indian.... Ambiance and the pier backdrop makes it a perfect place to dine in...

It was a lovely experience. The food was awesome. The drinks were top teir. The different flavors hit my taste buds in phases. The nan, was delicious. Not to mention the quietness in the night looking at the boats on the sea, the night view was good. I want to big up the waitress on Thursday night of this week, she was so nice.
It was a first time here and the experience was great.
I will definitely return. 😍

Stunning views! You can sit right by the water when you eat. The menu is huge, and everything we ordered was tasty - all came out piping hot as it was just freshly prepared. The food was also served in a timely manner and the portions were huge!! The butter chicken, goan shrimp, cheese and garlic and were my favorites but honestly it’s one of those places you can order anything and you’ll be satisfied! Chefs are clearly talented and there are apparently 2 - one for Indian dishes and another for Jamaican. We only ordered Indian this time and it’s the best Indian food I’ve had in a while - really exceed my expectations in all areas. Shoutout to Michaela who served us and was wonderful as well always checking to see if we’re ok or needed anything. One of the highlights for me in Ocho rios - if you’re in town and hungry, make sure to make a stop here!

We already went there 3 times, and each time, the food was really very good! The place is also very nice to sit, with a peaceful view to the port and the sea, not crowded. One of the most lovely, quiet places to eat in the too busy and dirty Ochi.

A beautifully located restaurant by the Marina serving top notch Indian food! Goan shrimp curry with Onion Kulcha was my favorite order pair. Would definitely come back in Ocho Rios!

Reasonably good Indian and Jamaican food; relaxing views and the waitress was really nice. We had a good time wud return again.

Great food, if you’re looking different option of food this would be the ideal place to go.
The veggie rice with conch gravy and cucumber salad was amazing.

This restaurant exceeded all of my expectations. We came to Passage to India on July 19th and everything was precise and setup for a large group. We had 23 people in our group and everyone LOVED the food.

The food did not take too long and the atmosphere there was amazing. The restaurant itself was located by the marina, and we got to feel that nice cool breeze. We had a long table to our group and the wait staff, as well as, the owner Vasu was really nice and accommodating.

My wife was allergic to Chick Peas, and Vasu volunteered to help work around it. Needless to say, my wife enjoyed the food. We loved the food so much that we decided to have him cater to our wedding.

The food was sooo good that it was finished in less than 45 minutes at the wedding, with people wanting more!

Vasu is amazing and we definitely recommend you trying Passage to India. 10/10.

The best Indian food you could get in Jamaica. Very reasonable rates for such authentic, tasty food. Many options for vegetarians!

Delicious food, quick service.

We ended up with a table full of food. Different naan breads, appetizer plate, curry goat, shrimp curry.

Everything was delicious and we had leftovers we could not wait to eat the next day. Much better curry goat than some other famous Jamaican restaurants. Spicy and rich.

Great authentic Indian food and great professional friendly service. The food was delicious, no complaints. Smelled great, looked great, tasted great! We were seated outside and it started pouring. The owner/manager came out to check on us to make sure that we were ok which was really sweet. We were totally fine since they have a sheltered outdoor area, but we appreciated the concern. The server was friendly and pleasant. We were even given tokens of appreciation at the end of our dinner which was lovely. highly recommend this restaurant.

Park in first lot on left and enjoy the short walk to dock-front. Menu has something for everyone and food arrives hot. Aroma makes your mouth water and taste satisfies your craving ... Servings are generous. Try takeout if you don’t have time to dine. After several visits, I’ve found the meals consistently very good and the service friendly and helpful. VG

Papadam, Samosas and Aloo Gobi were really delicious. Real good taste. Biryani was average. Service was good and owner is a very nice guy

It was truly an amazing experience! My waitress was so patient and helpful when we were deciding what to eat. The food was delicious and delightfully spicy, and within five minutes of ordering our appetizers can out hot and steaming! Then as we finished that 7-10 minutes after that our entrée was ready. We were the only ones there, it was very quiet, cool and gorgeous under the pepper lights❤ can't wait for next time

Ricky is an amazing host! We had an absolutely amazing time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing! If you know the great Indian taste, you’d like this place! We even received gifts from him since we dined there! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to eat Indian food in Ocho Rios!

We were staying at the Moon Palace resort in Ocho Rios and took a friend to this restaurant. The service was delightful and charming and the food was really wonderful! Absolutely authentic and delicious. What a fantastic discovery!

The location is near the marina. We went after the sun had set but going at sunset would be lovely.
