Golden Seas Beach Resort

My wife and I went here 4 or 5 times from the mid to late 80's. It was greatest experience ever. It was off the beaten path, yet the staff was the most attentive and friendly. The people of the area were also very friendly. A walk into Oracabessa and you'd get a taste of life in Jamaica. We're very sad it not still open.

Charming little hotel in nice surrounding, located close to the small village of Oracabessa. Just a few minutes walk away from James Bond Beach.
All rooms have sewview to all sides, natural air condition and a fresh water pool.
The Hotel has a nostalgic charme and is surrounded by the untouched nature. The staff I met was extremly friendly and easy going, really relaxed and offered me local specialities. Nice place to rest and relax for a while beside all the glamorous touristic spots.

I stay for 16 days at this hotel in september 1998. IT was great and wonderful.

Because it is presently under construction and improvements must beade in regards to pass deficiencies

Be warned when we were making the reservation we were told the fridge would be fully stocked only to find on check in that the fridge is only stocked in ocean view rooms. That's crazy and deceptive. The room we got was very basic. The cost is reasonable. You get just what you pay for and no more.
