Progressive Foods

Great shopping and great prices can be found in abundance at Progressive Foods. The store is very spacious so you can shop in comfort. The members of staff are extremely friendly and they really go out of their way to meet the needs of the customers. I appreciate their professionalism and it seems like a lot of training take place. Progressive Foods is ideally located and there is easy access to transportation, other shops, banks, the beach, etc.

I went to Progressive on Thursday early evening as the usual place where I purchase cat litter is nearby but were locking their doors for the night (understandable) as I approached

I was 30 seconds too late ( a smidge after 7). it happens. but I really needed cat litter

Impossible to find where I live in St Ann's Bay so I go back to visit Ocho (where I used to live) every 2 weeks or so to stock up on a fresh carton

My friend driving me took me to a place across the road, no cat litter there either (which I knew but figured worth a try)

On our way down the road heading back to a last ditch effort at a place half way between Ocho and St Ann's Bay we were behind a red light and I noticed Progressive was still open

No one in the place had heard of cat litter but a wonderful, super nice woman named Ms Ball helped me track it down. To much effort on her part. It was hidden amongst the air fresheners on a different aisle than the usual pet stuff.

Absolutely saved my evening in that for the rest of it I could just relax knowing my two cats would have a completely fresh bathroom box within hours

Total beyond the call of customer service duty, being so diligent and professional fun in helping me out.

Wide selection of all of the items you expect to find in a well stocked supermarket. The opening hours and time are very convenient.

I'm not one to write reviews but this place is amazingly comfortable, perfect example of home away from home, quiet and with absolutely no one in your space, you don't even have to see the host, but if you ever need anything they'll appear immediately.

I highly recommend this beautiful dwelling, pool is really clean all the time, yard is always clean, the rooms, bathroom and kitchen area is spotless.

Once they know you are coming, they'll even turn on the TV, turn on the A/C and lights prior to your arrival, so when you get there you have to fight to not just shower and get into bed (if you are tired), just from the comfort you're walking into.

I'm picky and the little things matter to me more than anything and I have to say this is now my non all inclusive spot to stay. 100% recommended

Well stocked you may not find your name brand, so adjust. Prices aren't that bad. We stayed local and made some of our own meals. Plus shopped for the kitchen. Staff are very helpful.

You love shopping for different types of food or snacks locally or internationally this is the spot.

Very open and spaciously layer out supermarket. What I really like about them is their wider than average selection of vegetarian protein options! You can find many many varieties of things there both dried, canned and frozen. Of course you can find all the regular things there as well that all other supermarkets have. A little more than ordinary in my opinion too. The parking can be a little congested but for me this is a small thing because of the perceived benefits I get from using the store so I don't sweat the little things😌

Excellent place to shop. Its always a pleasant experience to shop here. The staff is helpful, pleasant and very prompt. It's always clean and you can find every and anything here. They have a customer card where you earn points and the points can be used to purchase things. The only issue I have with going here is the fact that there is hardly any parking sometimes. This is due to the high volume of customers on the plaza... but that's a small price to pay for the ease of comfort they offer. Great place to shop.

My #1 go to supermarket. With the high inflation across the country, yes everything has been increase but I'll say I find Progressive (Ocho Rios) to be affordable.

People always ask why do I shop there, isn't expensive? No, it affordable to my budget.. Isn't too far from where I live (St Mary) ? Yes, but the drive out won't kill..lol🤷🏽‍♀ etc...

But I shop for the affordability, convenience, excellent customer service, clean surrounding, and parking. I've done my research with other supermarkets and made my decision. Progressive it is😊

We wanted some supplies for dinner and they have fresh, frozen and canned foods. Drinks too and a Bakery.
Staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. A nice place to shop.
