Merrils Beach Resorts - All Inclusive

We love Merrills, something we look forward to every year. It's like coming home.
Kudos to Charlie and Barbara for running the dining room and making us feel so welcome!
And to Diego for keeping the grounds in great shape, the garden area so beautiful. We enjoy his friendship!
The beach is the best.
Do bring bug spray as the mosquitoes really got me. Other than that, all was wonderful!

We absolutely loved our stay at Merrils!
First of all I want to highlight the great location. The hotel is directly at the beach and not closed of by a fence or any restrictions. You are free to take a walk on the beautiful beach and are near plenty of great bars and restaurants, if you can ever pull yourself away from this wonderful location that is just perfect for relaxation.

There is plenty of lush vegetation on the hotel property that you can admire on your way to your room or from your cute room balcony. Because of the central location the hotel rooms are loud at night and I would recommend ear plugs and/or an extra cocktail at dinner.

We loved the food as it was the perfect mix of local cuisine and international food and especially the lunch was super delicious. The new years dinner was a huge highlight of our stay! We also have to give a shout-out to the wonderful service staff, especially Charly who takes wonderful care of you in the morning. Don’t miss out on the great coffee with the perfect ocean view.
Another big highlight are the local cocktails and the open bar. A rum punch at the beach is all you need for a perfect vacation!
The rooms are super spacious and perfectly fine. After all, there is no reason to stay in when in Jamaica! The AC, fridge and shower work and the bathroom could do with an update but is fully functional.
We were delighted by the beautiful breakfast table (and cake!) that Barbara so kindly organized for my dads birthday. We felt so welcomed by the whole staff who sang for his birthday and congratulated him. We were more than happy with the kind, funny and laid-back service we received at the Merrils.

All in all we can’t recommend the hotel enough and would definitely come back for another fun beach vacation in Jamaica.

This resort isn't all fancy but for the purposes of relaxing and enjoying the beach, it's greatly appreciated. The food wasn't all that, but it was fair and healthy enough. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. You can walk down the beach to other places to eat and enjoy live entertainment. Very nice location. 👌 I will come again and tell other people about this place.

This place was perfect for our family. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff from the front desk to the incredible chefs that cooked our kids custom food was such a great experience. The food was so good as we are vegetarian we had so many options. The beach views were stunning. If you’re looking to show your family the true Jamaican culture go here: close to so many good restaurants. Just ask for extra blankets at night gets a bit chilly. We will be back !!

The workers are so sweet. Trevor was awesome! He made my stay so pleasant. He wanted to show me around Negril because he is a cab driver as well. However, I was only staying there that night and had to leave early in the morning. The food is authentic Jamaican food that is absolutely delicious! My 16 year old son is very picky about what he eats. He tried the steam fish, veggies and mashed potatoes and wanted seconds.

My experience here was during several trips over a 10-year stretch. This hotel has two sister hotels each giving you unique experiences. My favorite was Merrills 1. I usually stayed for 3 to 5 days and enjoyed every bit of it. The entertainment on the compound is good. The food is awesome and this is from the perspective of a Jamaican.
It was great value for money and I didn't feel the need to leave the premises much while I was there as it was a great mix of food and company.
There's lots to see around the property and outside as well, so if you get a chance please check out the strip.

Food, the people, the atmosphere are 2nd to none. Excellent time and right next door to Drifter's Bar where there was nightly live entertainment. Nice pool and beautiful beach. The room has a very nice mattress - truly appreciated that.

I spent my birthday and Christmas weekend at Merrils! I enjoyed every second of my stay! Food tho not a wide variety was good and filling! The staff was very friendly and helpful! A beautiful location at the 7 miles beach! Relaxing and peaceful central location to night entertainments! I will definitely be back! Only down was the wifi sucks! Wifi needs to be accessible in rooms and not just the dining and entertainment area.

The ideal place for a laid back family vacation. The staff are always warm, friendly and courteous. The menu is limited but adequate. The food is always tasty. Only problem is the restaurant opening hours are too far apart. If you love sun, sea and sand, this is a good place in Negril for you!

the hotel is located on the beautiful 7 miles beach, just entering the hotel area was an amazing experience for me thanks to the beautiful plants planted there. A great place to hang out. I felt magical in this place. The vegetation made a great impression on me. Entering the beach area you can hear reggea music, which gives the place an amazing atmosphere. The service is very nice, the lifeguard patrolling the beach and gentlemen security guards. You can feel safe. As for the meals, very tasty. Plantan 10/10! chicken and vegetables very appetizing. And my favorite pineapple juice that comes with the meal. I recommend this place to everyone.

Awesome staff, customer service is excellent. Restaurant and bar is great! Rooms are really nice! This is an awesome place to vacation with your family and unwind if that's what you need to do😊 Our visit there was really awesome! We will be back!! ❤❤

Right on the beach. Steps to live music and beautiful sunsets. Staff is professional, and charming. Food is good and grounds are clean with beautiful tropical landscape. Rooms are spacious, simple, and have A/C.

The experience with my partner was nothing but wonderful. Staff always on top, cleaned property, big rooms, private beach with security personal, live music depending on the days... Couldn't ask for more

I love this place. The room is not the best but it's Ok. A special big up to Marlon on all the rest of the bartender and staff. Thank you for you excellent jobs, on making me feel welcome. Can't wait to come back on visited. I would recommend this place anytime.

Best place for the price, 7th time there, 8 days. Use to go to the Riu's, but, got more days and 1/2 the price at Merrils 2, the staff is Great, all inclusive on the best beach ever, 7 mile beach. All sand, beautiful water, dont even need water shoes. We have been all over that island and this is now our home away from home.

Very relaxed place. Friendly staff. And the best massage I ever had, directly at the beach!

Absolutely Stunning this to me is a dream come true it's just pure paradise the management and staff are so lovely and treat you like family !! This is our second time here and definitely won't be our last !! I intend to get married here in the perfect setting for our chosen venue surrounded by our new family just lovely people all our love Mark and shazza XXXX
