Great food, the jerk pork, and jerk chicken is fantastic. Full of flavour.
The location is not fantastic, as it's just off a busy high road but it's well worth that just to try it. There are tables so you can eat there. It's close to Bamboo Avenue. I highly recommend this place..

Ruby's offers great jerk pork, chicken and cow's skin soup. The staff was cordial and quite engaging. They offer dine in and take away service. There is a bathroom facility and a bar on site. Parking was also good.

They recently renovated this little but famous jerk spot, which enhanced the beauty of the building and surroundings. I absolutely love the food; it's very tasty and the staff are great. The prices are great for the quality of food. There is a bar right beside it where you can go to get your drinks. It is cash only for now, it seems. It is close to the famous Holland Bamboo Scenic Avenue. Facts about Holland bamboo: It was planted by the owners of Holland Estate and dates back to the mid-1700s. The purpose of the grove was to provide shade for plantation slaves and owners of the estate en route to the town of Lacovia, which alternated with Black River as the capital of St. Elizabeth during the 18th century.

Food is very reasonably priced. Roti was the only side option available. Cow skin soup was also available starting at $150.
