Beautiful underground restaurant with lots of interesting artworks adorning the walls. The food was stunning. Started with antipasto, then the spinach Ravioli and fi shed with the steak. The steak was among the best I've ever eaten. Tender with beautiful fat content. Enjoyed it with a lovely bottle of Concerto Lambrusco, a seriously good wine!

Very nice restaurant hidden in inner yard. We had to wait a little bit to order and to get the food, but otherwise the food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We had a antipasti, main course, desert, coffee, wine and a lot of water.
I recommend this restaurant and also I would go there again.

Delicious locally sourced Italian Piedmontese food. Both the red and white wine by the glass delicious. Hubby had veal which was so tender it melted in your mouth. I had the traditional "Plin" agnoletti which also melted in my mouth. Excellent atmosphere and service as well.

Nice place for a dinner with family & friends. Food quality is very nice and plus it is a better option if you want to taste really nice local food.

What an amazing place! Nicely located in the courtyard. The service is excellent, and kind of familiar. The food was simply amazing! Traditional, simple and cooked with perfection. The homemade Tajarin "40 yolks"with butter and truffles is a must try! The wine selection has a broad variety of the beautiful wines of Piemonte, and very fair prices. Thank you for a great evening!

Whenever we come to Alba we need to eat at this restaurant first before we go anywhere else. Slow Food is always always good. Unpretentious, quality ingredients, simple but appetising presentation, beautifully prepared and served. Exceptional wine. Established and popular, this restaurant has a strong following and is always full. At least twice we managed to "beg" a table from the graceful manager who took pity on us!! I cannot recommend it enough even though there are lots of great restaurants in Alba. Can't wait to return!

Very welcoming restaurant hidden in a private court. Great selection of wines comparable to the high quality of the used ingredients ( slow food ).
Service and prices aligned and very ok. Recommended.

You can expect all the big musts of the Piemontese cuisine in this cozy restaurant in Alba.
I tried the white truffle here for the first time in my life. You can try it on eggs en cocotte or on carne cruda (35 euros for these plates) apart from having it grated on your pasta.
I have appreciated the service: attentive and fast. We have particularly appreciated that the owner offered us a bottle of Pelaverga for having mistakenly poured some wine on a jacket of one of us at the table.

If you will be there in the fall, you made a right choice! Truffle season is the best time to visit Alba and the place) About the place, you will want to try everything from the menu! ;)

High quality food and good wine selection, with slow food accreditation. This restaurant has warm ambience and welcoming staff. A must visit for anyone visiting Alba

Better than I expected. The grilled squid, veal stew, and peach torte were all superb.

Wonderful slow food experience in the heart of Alba. Local Piemonte dishes, great selection of wines. Make a reservation as it fills up quickly. Staff are knowledgeable about pairings so most certainly worthwhile to ask for recommendations on what local wine goes best with your dishes. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Alba
