Trattoria Del Bollito

I love this place! Stumbled upon it my first time in Alba and make a point to visit every time I come back. They have truly craveable pastas, really reasonable local wines by the glass and carafe, and a slightly funky, fun atmosphere.

Our experience at La Trattoria del Bollito was nothing short of fantastic. We started with the Trio Antipasti, which featured tartare, Vitello tonato, and a delightful mushroom flan - an explosion of flavors. Our main courses, the Tajarin Tartufo pasta and the ravioli with fondue and truffle, were absolutely amazing. To top it off, the tiramisu was the perfect sweet conclusion to an exceptional meal.

Delicious authentic Italian bollito! Bollito and pasta and wine! Not much better than that!

OMG - What a charming place! Loved the owner, charming staff, amazing food. Very relaxed and welcoming. I had the Gluten Free pasta with Rabbit and Hazelnuts. Outstanding. My friend had the wild boar papparadelle. She loved it. Please go here!

Excellent osteria located just before Alba city center.
I found every dish well prepared. pasta dishes were the best: we tried pasta with truffle cream and a second pasta with rabbit&pistachio ragù.
The wine list does not offer many choices however there is a great selection of local wines.
Price was ok.

This restaurant is unassuming from the outside but has a lovely atmosphere and probably the best food we've eaten in Piemonte. The service is excellent, staff are friendly and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this trattoria!

We were at Alba for a week and since we discovered this restaurant we ate there three times. Delicious food, generous quantities, fair prices and very kind staff. Recommended.

Very good family restaurant! Good food and service for reasonable prices. Tourists beware: their “tasting menu” offerings are traps and are actually more expensive than ordering their parts individually.

Ask in Italian for the special ‘secret’ white truffle menu, the password is “salsiccia di bra”.

Incredible place. The pasta comes in pans, perfect to share. All three dishes we shared were delicious, the pasta is homemade and the sauces were outstanding

Good selection of pastas. They also had white truffles although we didn’t order they made the restaurant smell divine.

The pasta here is so good I kept a piece to hang on my wall at home in a frame. The portions of pasta are massive - easily three bowlfuls per portion. The sauces are delicious, and there is a great selection.

I have been in Barolo since October 9, 2018. Everywhere we ate in Barolo, La Morra, Serralunga, etc, had dinner/lunch plates that looked like Picasso himself carefully put them together and brought them out to our table. While it all tasted good, nothing was really hitting the spot for me. I wanted to eat home style food, Nona's food, something that was not necessarily engineered by a team of 5 architects to look good. We found Trattoria Del Bollito and I had absolutely, no questions asked, by far, the best and tastiest meal thus far during our stay in the region!

I asked our waitress to translate that to the chef and he laughed out loud and told us I only said that to get a discount :D.

I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Had the most amazing pappardelle with ragu with a glass of barolo. Also the staff was amazingly friendly. Highly recommended

Wow! Italy on a plate. To amuse they serve a great chunk of Parmigano Reggiano. Serve pasta dishes in the pan they're cooked in. Great experience
