Food, service, atmosphere are really nice. I followed recommendations and received amazing risotto and interesting lite local white wine. Highly recommend! I had a pasta for lunch and then returned same day for a dinner and had risotto. Both were amazing. Oh, and a local dessert with peaches- must try.

Very cosy local italian restaurant. 2 owners, both working. Very delight chosen menu. Andrea is very friendly and welcome. His recommendations were 10 points! Beef tartare and ravioli (5 days prepared souce) were highlight! We recommend to visit this small cosy restaurant with selected menu! Red wine by glass was incredible!

Welcoming restaurant, with a young and energetic staff, took the time to explain in detail all the ingredients and the way these delicious dishes should be eaten. The wine selection was respectable according to the intimate size of the restaurant. Seeing the quality of the food I expected the price to be excessive, however to my great surprise it was affordable.

PS: I highly recommend the Truffle Menu and for dessert the Panna Cotta di Rosa.

Amazing cozy restaurant, you will want to join as the restaurant is small - but the service is fantastic and the food is great. Local favourites done at a very high level

Excellent, though it has a very limited menu, as can be expected from very good restaurants. They offer truffels and an amazing brazed onion, pea and bean staged reduction that is to die for. They have all the favorites, especially a granache with creme. They do speak English.

Wonderful food and very kind staff! As a tourist visiting Northern Italy, I found it very helpful that their menu had a section highlighting traditional dishes of the region. I ordered the meat ravioli & gravy, braised beef & vegetables, and a Bonet for desert: everything was so flavorful and delicious! I'll definitely be going back next time I visit Torino.

We went to Il Barbabuc for a sunny lunch on the terrasse, to treat my partner for his birthday. We chose the Piemontese tasting menu and everything was just SO tasty - from starter to dessert. I love the fact that the dishes are simple, no extra sauces, cheese, or even salt or pepper to add - just quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We'll definitely come back to try different dishes, or when we want to bring friends or family to discover the cuisine from Piemonte. Thanks again for a lovely meal!

Their degustation menu is well balanced, tasty starters, with exceptionally good pasta. The Dessert cake was an uncomplicated, but surprisingly intense tasting item. Very helpful personnel, small number of tables. It was ideal for a relaxing dinner on my final evening in Torino.

The best food I’ve had in Italy so far, and I’ve been to Turin, Milan, and Rome. The pasta is delightful, the service is outstanding, and the overall atmosphere is stellar. My fiancé and I came in to eat for lunch on our way to the train station with our two large suitcases, and the staff sat us down no problem to work with us. I don’t recommend going in with your bags (because you should do your best to enjoy this restaurant in its entirety), but it speaks to the staff service the fact that they let us in and catered to us without shady looks or remarks. When we sat down, they spoke to us in English because they could tell we were foreign, but when we asked them to speak to us in Italian slowly so we could practice more, they were so kind and helpful! Now on the the most important part of this review, the food! I cannot remember exactly what we got for our main courses, but just know that anything you order off of the menu will be amazing! I know that whatever pasta I had, had Speck in it, and it was DELICIOUS! My fiancé had the beef tartar and then some other kind of pasta for dinner and was highly pleased! We paired our meals with Barolo wine. The more expensive one is DEFINITELY worth it, we tried a glass of each kind. Finally, the desserts were VERY delicious and well balanced. The only criticism I have is that the sorbet I had could have been more balanced with a firmer and more flavored granola. The one that it comes with is kind of chalky, but the dessert my fiancé had was absolutely amazing!

High quality of food and management. Restaurant is not big, which is good - you have a cozy, not noisy atmosphere.
Personnel is very attentive and professional.
Absolutely recommend - but book your place first; the restaurant is densely full every evening.

A real gem in Torino, where you can explore the local Piemont cuisine! A small and cosy setting, with a young staff as kind as attentive, ready to walk you through the menu. We enjoyed the menus, in particular the seasonal one dedicated to truffles. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely meal here. The Battuta al Coltello with black truffles was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Veal perfectly seasoned with oil, salt and pepper topped with shaved truffles, what more do you need. The staff was very friendly and hospitable and the atmosphere is perfection. The wine list is packed with Barolo and the desserts looked outstanding.
This is a must go!

Great cuisine, very typical piemontese restaurant. Young Chef with worldwide experience and great culinary culture. If you are looking for best quality ingredients, great wines , refined service and cuisine, Barbabuc is your place. I had a wonderful pepperoni flan with Roccaverano cheese and a perfectly balanced Risotto with Peaches and Hazelnuts. Also "Plin" pasta with Arrosto Sauce are really good.

The Piemontese menu was simply exquisite, the selection of wines well-informed and in fact spot on, and the service immaculate. Respect for these two guys, this will become big...
