Hotel Miralago Cernobbio

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location.
We came here for 2 nights from Milan Malpensa. Train from the airport was easy and the nicest way to arrive was the 10 minute Ferry across. The hotel is there in front of you, looking glorious overlooking the lake. We were welcomed by Liliyana (Lily? Sorry, I think the name might be wrong) and she checked us in quickly. Most of the details were sorted via email, they have a great system online for letting you customise your stay where necessary and in advance. Hotel was very responsive to any questions I had. There was a lovely touch of some chocolates welcoming us in our room, as this was our wedding anniversary trip.
The only negative was the bathroom - a little small (room 114) and the water pressure was a bit low. We had a corner room with lake view as it was the only one available for your dates. It's a lovely lovely room and has a cute balcony and worth getting if you can. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were great too.
Breakfast is very fresh and plentiful. A fair selection and decent but not a massive silly buffet spread so don't expect it nor complain for not getting it. Cheeses, cuts, eggs and pancakes are all prepared to order.
We spent the evening and following day wandering around the small village and had a great pizza at Albergo Rialstorante Pizza Giardino, round the corner (separate review).
It was a short walk to Villa D'Este for dinner the following evening.
This hotel is a great location and I would definitely stay again.

Spent 4 nights for a family wedding. Very squishy-squashy rooms if you are a couple, even if you are used to older family-owned European hotels in expensive places, but the bed was super-comfortable. Good breakfast. Charming and very attentive staff. The location is gorgeous - right by the ferryboat quay and a minute from the main street of the charming town. Don't miss the beautiful interior of the small church round the back by the hotel car park and you must eat at the Osterria del Beuc in the adjoining alleyway, which is an absolute gem.

The food (and service) at M Restaurant is delightful. Traditional dining experience in an outstanding location by the water (ferry port) in Cernobbio (CO). Every plate was prepared and presented expertly. The freshest ingredients. Exceptional service by a very attentive staff; attention to details included. This can get a bit touristy (seasonally) due to its location but the dining experience remains true to its local roots.

We came here quite by chance in spite of the fact that we wanted to celebrate our 36 th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed … the entree with typical carpaccio of sturgeon and salmon was awesome as was our risotto divorce persuni … a lovely Nebbiolo from the region suggested by the charming waiter was excellent! For dessert we had a lovely chocolate fondant which we shared which I will include in the photo … please note the special hearts spontaneously designed for us … there is also a lovely view of Lake Cernobbio too Highly recommended

My family and I stayed here for two nights while exploring lake como. It was a quick drive to the main towns further north and the ferry stop is right outside the door. Great location to the pier and restaurants and the rooms AC was strong.

Amazing location. The room was comfortable, bathroom was small but works. Breakfast was good. Service was fantastic.

We came for a family wedding and have asked for a lot of random accommodations, at random times. The hosts have been sooo patient, kind, helpful and accommodating. Very kind people

We grabbed a drink at the bar here and they were very accommodating and brought us an excellent appetizer with our drinks. It’s not typical where I am wowed by a bar service but this place definitely did it! :)

Exquisite hotel in the heart of a beautiful town on the water. We needed to go to the Villa nearby and the taxi service said it was too close so the maitre d got his car and drove us.

Didn't stay, dined at the restaurant on their comfortable patio with a great view. Fabulous service and excellent cuisine, we would definitely eat here again.

We tried the Fish & Chips and caprese starters and grilled fish of the day, both excellent. Had a white wine, I wish I could remember the name.

We had wonderful corner room with a great view of the lake. Right outside the cernobbio ferry station. Slight mildew smell in the hallway so if you have allergies may be a concern, but not a provlem for us. Overall an amazing place to stay with a great breakfast and the sweetest staff.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing food! The fish of the day was delicious. And the view is one of the bests in lake Como as you can admire the lake from the terrace! Go here - remember to book it in advance.

Didn’t stay at the hotel, but instead we had a great lunch at the hotel’s restaurant - home made pasta with a glass of nice house wine. Simple and delicious food at good price.

Excellent location, Service, amazing dinner and lunch food in the hotel Restaurant. Breakfast has a bit too small choice (very basic Staff to eat). Overall very good score and and strongly recommend!

An amazing location, welcoming staff and great breakfast on the terrace. Some rooms have a view on the lake with even a small terrace. I like the impressive entrance with the staircase: although quite big, it has several sitting corners that make it pleasant and cosy. Value for money, will come back!

Wonderful restaurant in a very beautiful place. Our table was in front of the lake, what a wonderful view!!! The waitresses are very kind. The menu is simple but very good.
I will come back.

Great location, friendly staff

Our room was small but perfect as a home base for 4 days of sightseeing. The room was reasonably priced and included A/C. The bathroom was very clean and recently renovated. Bed was comfortable. Wi-fi service was consistently good. Breakfast offered an array of options. Our room offered a nice view of the lake. The hotel is conveniently located with an easy walk to the lake ferry. Note: If you want to dine at Harry’s a reservation is strongly recommended.

Best located Hotel in town. Beautiful lakeview. Boat rental. Run by owner family. Parking close to Hotel. Friendly service. Market on weekends. We love our the place. This is how an exclusive five star hotel should look like. The service is really five star level.

A Delightful Gem
Stayed 4 days at Hotel Miralago as a surprise birthday treat for my partner in June 2021 and it was absolutely amazing, from the helpful pre-arrival communication to the extra little touches during our stay. The view from the balcony of the corner room is beautiful for the morning sunrise.
Hotel Miralago is a cosy, family-run hotel which makes it more special, moving away from the mainstream hotel chains and knowing there is genuine pride and passion as demonstrated from the super friendly and helpful reception staff and wait staff in the restaurant plus the gorgeous décor. The hotel restaurant makes some amazing food so definitely worth trying out first.
The reception staff made some wonderful arrangements as a last minute surprise for my partner, from a gorgeous birthday cake by a local patisserie which was divine to a beautiful restaurant where they managed to slot us in to what was a fully booked restaurant for the sunset view.
Highly recommended for those who are visiting Como, the hotel is a minute walk from the ferry service in Cernobbio making it super convenient to get to e.g. Como and Bellagio, staying away from the crowded areas when you want a bit of peace and quiet. Looking forward to returning soon!
