Carrefour Market - Pompei Plinio

Well laid out within walking distance from the centre of Pompei, we stayed nearby on our trip and stocked up here a few times. Everything you'd need and very friendly staff!

Fairly big supermarket compared to others nearby. Lots of selection, quick service and car parks outside.

Don't get caught at the Pompeii tourist shops paying €2 for 500mL of water or €25 for sunscreen. Water is €0.49/1.5L and sunscreen is just €6-12. It is a 5min walk to save you €10-15. #doit #yourwelcome

Perfect market for essential groceries. Clean, good selection, fruits and vegetables are fresh. Also easy place to park for a day visit to Pompeii (paid parking 15 euros).

This is the best supermarket one can find in Pompei, with a lot of local products 100% made in Italy and a large selection of organic healthy products. The gastronomy section is also very good, with ready dishes prepared by Lorenzo! A must is his grilled paprika he prepares according to the traditional Neapolitan recipe! We also had an excellent experience with fresh fish - really a high quality selection. It is recommendable to visit the store in the morning or early afternoon as often in the evening the best products are already gone!

Best in town! Unfortunately a little walk from the center. Sells only food, no knives etc.

I don't think I've ever been in a Carrefour I didn't like. Fresh meats and produce, good prices and plenty of variety. I really like these stores and I wish we had one where I live.

Giving it 5 stars cos it’s the biggest supermarket you can find in Pompei town. Big enough for a tourist to get almost everything you need and there’s ample parking on site. Staff is friendly enough and it’s located along the main road so dead easy to find.

Great selection of pastas, cheese, cured meats, and bread (well worth a trip if you are planning on self-catering whilst you stay in Pompeii - would recommend bring a pack lunch to the Pompeii ruins.

It's a nice and comfy place, it was our shelter in the rain.

Small supermarket with a lot of staff you can find there everything you need but... a It was a little bit expensive :(
