Great dinner...in all ways! I first visited this ristorante during 2010-2012 when I was fortunate to live and work in Italy. I came back on vacation the summer for 2013, and of course now. Everyone has expectations...they have always exceeded mine! My only advice...slow down and enjoy everything -- the service, food, and wine. Buon appetito! 😋😋

Food was very very tasty, especially the cheese varietè as apertizer and the hand made ravioli filled with soft egg yolk as an interpretation of carbonara.
Service was professional.

Delicious food and great service. Gorgeous view of the sunset and mouth watering gnocchi! Sun can be much in the summer and if there's no breeze, but don't let that take away from this amazing gem in the hills!

I’ve been there four or five times, haven’t had a bad meal. Had a different dish every time , not disappointed. Staff is accommodating and professional. Try it, you’ll agree.

The food was delicious. Pork tomahawk melted in our mouths, perfectly grilled to pink. Wild boar ragut full of flavor. All paired with an amazing Chianti Classico. Highly recommended

Definitely one of the best in Greve. Standard is way higher than the other nearby places. Excellent service and food, great wine list.

We went twice. I don't kno everything about the Italian culture, and do not expect to be treated like royalty (I'm not, btw). The staff seems a little stuffy BUT I am thankful they don't loiter around the table and over service.

I will say the restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful appointments. The food was served and temperatures were perfect. We had the Florence Bistecca both times and it was amazing..,,both times.

Greve is very nice and this restaurant served a very memorable meal, TWICE! Thank you. I plan to return the next time in Italy (trending annually at the time)

Had a lovely meal at Gallo Nero and would most definitely recommend it! We had heard wonderful things and were not disappointed. If you are in Greve this is a great option for a delicious meal.

This place is incredible. Normally, I don’t choose restaurants in city centers, because they may be a tourist trap. But, this one, I got to highlight. I went with my wife and 5 year old daughter. I ordered a meat, one of the bests I have eaten in Tuscany. My wife ordered pasta al ragù, and she really enjoyed. The house wine is very nice too. I strongly recommend it.

We ordered the parpadelle with Porto and the Taglatione with truffle. I have never finished a bowl of pasta in my life so this was a first!!! Pasta was cooked al dente and everything was seasoned well. Not over salted. Would come back here again for sure!

Amazing food and wine, was high quality on the meat and had excellent topping. The service was also very good and they was always close when we needed help. Can highly recommend.

Stumbled upon this gem tonight. Had the eye fillet with truffle and my wife had the pasta with wild boar ragu. Washed it down with a glass of local wine, dessert and an espresso. Service was superb, the atmosphere and restaurant was very nice and food exquisite.
