Ristorante La Luna Nel Pozzo

We were a group of 3 for Monday lunch. We enjoyed the raw meat starter, asparagus and cream cheese risotto, and sirloin of veal with tomato jam and fried semolina. The wine was a bottle of Collina Serragrilli dolcetto 2021 from Neive. Everything was superb. You must also try the desserts - often dolci in Italian restaurants are not imaginative, but here you will be delighted.

We were there on Thursday and had fortunately reserved (several guests had to be turned away).

After a warm welcome and a nibble on the house, we made our way through various courses. The food is very delicious and nicely presented. The restaurant itself, however, is rather old and plainly furnished, but this is more than made up for by the lovely and courteous service. The energy that the owner puts on the day despite old age is really remarkable and we felt very comfortable.

Went to this place on recommendation from our Hotel was the best meal we’ve had in Italy so far if Neive you must try it in the backstreet, hard to find, but absolutely fantastic

Found this place by chance on Sunday evening as we were looking for somewhere open at 7 as we have a baby. Restaurant and owners had an old-school charm and the food was exceptional! Really delicious and the service was fantastic. Thank you for a great evening!

Hidden gem in this wine touristy part of the country

A hidden gem! The combined food and service made this a truly amazing dinner. At first glance the restaurant doesn’t look much. But if you are after a truly genuine Italian food, service and ambiance restaurant this is highly recommended.
