Gino Sorbillo - Pizza Gourmand

Surprisingly good. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We randomly walked into the restaurant because the decoration looks amazing but at first one of the stuff was a bit rude to us because we came early just a bit before lunch time and we asked for a table for 3 since the restaurant already open but he told us “for what?” with a blank face which I find very unpleasant way to reply. So we found out that we have to wait until noon since only cafe area was open at the moment. However, after we came back we were welcomed by a different staff which was helpful and friendly. All in all, great good reasonable price. The pizza is the best.very refreshing

I love neapolitan style pizza and after visiting some great pizza places in Naples I'm trying to find similar pizza everywhere I go. And this place in perfect location close to Duomo met all my expectations about pizza.
Restaurant was very busy, but service was great. Quick, friendly and attentive. With delicious pizza and great Sorbillo house wine, what else you need.
If you like proper neapolitan pizza, definitely recommend this place.
Considering the location, prices are very reasonable.

You are never disappointed in this place. Reasonable price and delicious food. Anytime I travel to Milan, I definitely visit them. Usually, I have their pizza but This time eggplant parmesan was my choice and I wasn't disappointed. Cheers

Located inside the Milano galleria. Was looking for a place to eat. Saw this place and walked in. The whole galleria is busy and we were lucky to get a place without a booking. The food is excellent and the pizza is the best I have ever had. The crust was the best tasting bread. Add to this an Italian beer and you’re set. Excellent. And don’t forget to end with a lemon cello liquor. 😀

Pizzas and pastries were both very tasty. I tried the same restaurant in Rome, but the flavors were not related to each other.
We waited around 10 minutes as there were a lot of people, but it was definitely worth it.

Tasty pizza in Milan! The dough is thin, well fried. Good service! at full load we waited 15-20 minutes and it's not long. the price, as elsewhere, for such a pizza is from 9-15 €, affordable, tasty. Recommend!

Delicious pizza, i was waiting a little bit longer in crowded restaurant at 2 p.m, but it was worth of it. Staff was nice and everything looked good, i definitely recommend to try this restaurant.

This is a very nice and decent place for a nice meal. The food is amazing and portions are decent as well. It was a great experience although one of the dishes was not tasty, but this is purely my own preference rather than something not right in the plate. But overall, amazing place.

Pizzas are very good, prices are good and the service is very fast and professional. Highly recommended. If you order one pizza for 2 people they offer to devide the pizza for 2 plates by their own, without even asking ! Great service

I attempted to get a table for one at 12:30pm on a Sunday when the place was jammed. I got the last table upstairs which although is not as nice as the ground floor or patio, I was happy to get a seat.

The menu is online in multiple languages. The waitress was fast to take my order, but as I’ve learned in Europe you must ask for the order to be taken which can confuse some Americans.

I ordered a glass of red wine (and was brought a white wine but I chose to drink it anyway as it was a hot day.) I also ordered in English with no attempt at Italian so I don’t feel I can complain, and it was a happy accident.

For an appetizer I ordered the "Pasta Frittatina,” which is described on the menu as bucatini, bechamelle sauce, ground meat, peas, parmesan cheese served with
Vegetable Tempura. It was a fritter made of pasta and other ingredients deep fat fried along with fried zucchini tempera cut to look like shrimp.

For pizza I ordered the Lazio, described on the menu as pork jowl, Vecchio Montanaro pecorino laziale cheese, bio tomato, Fiordilatte cheese with buffalo milk, extra virgin olive oil. It was one of the more expensive gourmand pizzas at €13.20. The pizza was cooked perfectly in the Neapolitan style with good leopard spotting (it could have been better and the spots were too large and too wide placed). The crust tasted good with excellent salt level, and the ingredients were of high quality. I am partial to pork jowl, which in my opinion is better than prosciutto. I was surprised that they cooked the pizza with the pork jowl instead of putting on top after cooking. I prefer the meat to be cooked which in my experience is not as common as laying it on top afterward.

Some Americans may be surprised with this style of pizza as it is not crispy and is uncut. Others may be surprised with the proper doneness as it could look burned to the pizza neophyte.

Along with a small beer (another great thing about Italy is you can order a 200ml beer which is perfect if you don’t want to drink a lot), a 750 ml bottle of San Pellegrino, and an espresso the meal came to €36.20. For a tourist favorite right in the center of Milan I found the price was reasonable. There is a service charge added for 3€ which has surprised some diners, but no tip is required.

When I left at 1:20pm the line was huge and I doubt I would have waited.

Came here because a store clerk in Buenos Aires recommended it to me. This was my first try of pizza in Italy and it didnt disappoint. The inside of this place is really tiny so normally I would've eaten outside but it was raining. The staff was really accommodating and let me pick where I wanted to sit inside since I was dining alone. I ordered a margarita pizza (since I heard that it's popular) and some arancini. The arancini wasn't good. I didnt finish it because I didnt want to waste the calories but it did come with a potato croquette that I absolutely loved.

My pizza was really good. It wasnt heavy plus the crust was really flavorful and buttery. I wasnt able to finish it since I had the potato croquette, but I happily took it home.

I would definitely come back here on a warm day and try to enjoy the patio on a nice day.

My Margherita pizza was excellent. Service was impeccable, fast and friendly. And when I could not finish the whole pie, I was offered a take out box and it was packed and bagged for me. I will be back.

Great pizza restaurant. Right in the heart of everything. Prices are pretty good, especially considering the area and a lot of places upcharging. This isn’t a tourist trap. Great staff as quick food.

Well, I can say that I wasn't dissapointed at all. I thought it was going to be a tourist trap but I was wrong. This was the best pizza I've ever tasted in my entire life. The staff was really great. Such a shame that we couldn't go inside but the pizza made me forget everything. Would 100% recommend.

Tips: If you want to eat there at lunch arrive a little bit before 12am or else you would have to wait a long time. Or book a table the day before!

Great Neapolitan style pizza, very friendly service. Made us feel back in the South as we were in Milano.
