Born in 1953, the Museum is one of the largest science and technology museums in Europe, a place where you can travel through the past, present and future. Perfect place for a visit with children! Very impressive! Amazing price for a great place of history.

What an incredibly wonderful museum, absolutely amazing collection. The museum has 7 main departments which have everything from televisions, telephones, telescopes, radios, Leonardo Da Vinci’s works, to trains, planes, automobiles and so much more. It’s one of the nicest science museums I’ve ever visited. It’s a great place for families and people with kids. I really enjoyed my time here and it’s definitely worth checking out.

This massive museum includes a rich collection of exhibits that seamlessly intertwine science and history from different perspectives. The museum's vastness allows for a day filled with exploration and discovery. We only had 1 1/2 hours unfortunately, but we managed to see very much anyway. On the top floor is a section about Leonardo da Vinci, which has many models of his designs.
In other sections, there are exhibitions about space, about the earth, about the history of radio and the science behind it. There is also an outside section with a rocket and a submarine.
Additionally there is a hall full of locomotives and train carriages.
The last hall has ships and planes.
I would definitely recommend a visit if you're interested in even one of those things, as you could spend hours in every section.

Very nice, well planned and marked to know were to go. Very large with alot of displays. An outside area with a submarine, rocket and airplane fighter. Some old huge locomotives and ships. It is a good place to lose yourself for a good 2-3 hours.

Reading other reviews very difficult to understand is it any good or no.
In my opinion it’s very good and worth your time to visit.
Of course like in any other museum something will be very boring and not interesting.
Some other parts will be breathtaking.
Others just interesting to have a look at, and others absolutely fascinating if you know history well enough.
Where is no cafe or any place to buy snacks or drinks, just vending machine. So take a sandwich and a bottle of water with you.

Really cool museum. So many interesting things to see and learn. There is even a small piece if the moon. Not to mention the submarine and airplanes that are there too. Really recommend visiting. Entry is normally 10 euros but I got a youth discount so I got in for 7.5 euros. Recommended 100%

Milan's science and technology museum, this is a great place to visit if you want to learn more about Da Vinci's history, sketches, and visionary designs. It's also great for modern technological experiments and experiences too. We went for the former and stayed for the latter. Your kids will love it!

The best that can be presented! You need 2 hours just to pass by in a normal way, just by reading titles and main descriptions. If you give into more detail, 4 hours is certainly required. Perfect and educational for everyone!

Very well designed and interactive museum with exhibits on different subjects within science and technology. Our highlight was the Da Vinci gallery, Space Gallery, The submarine, ESA launcher and the marine transport section. To see the whole thing properly, you need at least half a day.
€7.50 ticket for kids under 6 felt a bit extra since kids under 6 are free in other museums. Also, kids should go free since the whole idea is to get more kids in STEM.
Also, no cafe there.

Brilliant museum with fascinating exhibits.
The museum has an area completely dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci’s life, inventions, science, notes, drawings, and croquis. Being a big of Leonardo Da Vinci since my teenage took this experience to another level. The energy around his books was unbelievable.
I went there for Leonardo da Vinci’s exhibition mainly, and I was happy to discover the rest of the displays.
It’s also a great value for money.
An appropriate audio guide would’ve been a plus.

Must visit place in Milano
Huge exhibitions about space, Da Vinci, photos, physics, astronomy etc
The most unic museum I visited.
You can see Da Vinci’s ideas, what he imagined and some of his real notes too.
All along the museum there are a lot of experiment which you can try for example morse code, radio signals
7,5 € for students and 10 for adults

Actually a very interesting and engaging museum. They have a submarine in the garden.

The Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition is only on 1 floor. Place is MASSIVE and should be rebanded to just "science museum"

Great museum. Be sure and do the top floor first. We didn’t and the power went out. Missed some of the museum. Bottom floor contemporary stuff.

I thought this museum was pretty cool! Mixed reviews in the comments but it was kinda rainy when we were in Milan so thought this would be a good spot to spend a few hours indoors and we really enjoyed it! They have a lot of interactive pieces of the museum which is great for kids! I would recommend this if you’re in the same boat as us and needed to be inside for 2-3 hours.
