All'Antica Osteria

We found this restaurant to be open during a public holiday all day when other restaurants were closed for siesta or not open until evening. The location is not obvious with the enterance on a narrow street (you have to find a parking spot somewhere nearby). The food was outstanding and portion sizes were also bigger than in other restaurants. We ate pasta, seafood, meat, coffee and the house desserts. Everything was delicious and it was a significantly better experience than in other restaurants more popular among tourists.

Lovely place - a real hidden gem. The plate of mussels we had were divine (the best we’ve had in Sicily so far), and the homemade special pasta was gorgeous. A real family run joint, steeped in character and life. Order the creamy pasta, get a cold beer to go with it and enjoy the ambience.

On our last night in Acireale we dined at this family restaurant. Food was very delicious from starters to desserts. Friendly and attentive staff members. All food was very fresh and we didn't have to wait long after placing orders. Big portions too! If you are staying in Acireale or passing by, try it out!

Very nice and traditional taverne. Delicious food and perfect service. Pizzas are awesome. Amaro as digestif is wonderful.

This was a gem in empty Acireale during afternoon siesta. Bit harder to find during the day, but the interior is full of memories... Service was also great so we spent more then we should..

Local cuisine, delicious food (be carefull - dishes are very big 😍), nice staff, reasonable prices, we had been there 4 times during our one week stay in Acireale.

Genuine, abundant portions, evidently prepared with fresh ingredients. Very friendly service!

If you want to eat like a real Sicilian, here is the best place. Get ready to enjoy big portions of great food. My favorite plate is Spaghetti al bacio.

Delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. I wish I could have eaten more so we could have enjoyed the antipasti buffet along with our oysters and pasta and grilled fish.

The best restaurant and delicious 😋

Really Really Lovely Place! The food was very yummy and prepared freshly, the portions are quite big, the pricing more than fair and - I can't empathize that enough: - the staff was just absolutely lovely, kind and funny and made us you feel like they were very happy to host us as their guest. It's just a great and warm atmosphere. We ate here on our last night in Sicily and it was just the perfect experience - that's was hospitality looks like in Italy. It's absolutely worth a visit to have a really original Sicilian dinner experience and a good time!

The place itself looks very cozy, with pictures of former guest all over every single wall, it's really one of a kind. It's located in a cute and tiny little historic street.

We had a wonderful dinner in Acireale, in this restaurant owned by a family, historical in Acireale, as shown by the pictures in the hall. The food is traditional, and the products are local, the service is very nice, and the price is perfect (considering also the big portions!) Very recommended, to experience a true traditional Sicilian restaurant

Food was good, simple and typical italien. Simple dishes, good food in a traditional environment. Can recommend!

Really cute and authentic Osteria. One of the best Carbonara's I have ever had. Girlfriend had a mix of local pastas which was amazing as well. Antipasta of pulpo was very clean and a big portion. Staff werent fluent in English, but who cares when the food is that great. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Eat here, don't go back on your footsteps based on the entrance, a great experience awaits.

The restaurant is very cosy, our lunch was delicious and fesh, the owner is very kind and helpful, speaks english (which is a plus in Sicily)
